Nino, Zeonark... Next time you do that, I'm slapping a ban on you 2, or any other person who does the same thing.

And I don't know... Social Studies for me was very fun. Often engaging and exciting in the lessons and hearing what the world leaders had to say was both educational and rewarding. Fun class was fun.

History is my least favorite class... period.

For World History, it's just reiterating the same material I learned before, which is what I learned before that, which is what I learned before that, ad infinitum.

Maybe between the 1920's and present is actually *gulp* 'fun' for World History, but otherwise I think it's shit.

As for US History... no. Anything before the 1940's is just stupid and useless. I don't even like how our government works, so why learn about my founding fathers? I guess black right's movement was good, but that's still post-1940's. =/

World History is my favorite class ever. Hands down. I have the best teacher and the class is so/so. The teacher really makes the class. He's the kind of teacher that can take a joke and makes his own jokes. He's short, contorts himself into small spaces, and has a facebook.

The dullest part of world history was learning about Western Europe. Really anything pertaining to Western Europe was dull since everyone pretty much knows what happened. Older history was much more interesting for me IMO.

Honestly though, it depends on the class since I'm taking AP which covers a sheet ton of time with a really fun class with an awesome teacher. On the other hand, the other class, Modern World History is like the Renaissance-Present Day. Which is essentially: Western Europe, Western Europe, Western Europe, Western Europe, Western Europe and then a little bit of America.

I perfer learning about the Vietnam War in American Cultures.... and the reason behind that is not because the older generation in my family participated in it. That is not the reason.

That's the only reason why I love adding science into history class; it gives you a perfectly legitimate reason to bash on religion and religious institutions for not knowing what others of the same time period figured out.

Curse my lack of intelligence at 9:45 at night. I don't know how to respond to this post.
