This card can only be Set if the Field Spell "ProtoTrap Heaven" is face-up on your side of the field. This card cannot be switched to Defence Position. Before you can Activate this cards efftct you must Set it Vertically. After your second Standby Phase you may activate this card like a Trap card. This card cannot declare an attack. For each turn this card remains face-up on your side of the field put 1 Proto Counter on this card (max 10). When there is 10 Proto Counters on this card you can destroy this card and inflict 2000 Life Points of damage to your opponent. If you don't choose to use that effect you can tribute 10 Proto Counters and Special Summon a Level 4 or lower ProtoTrap monster from your Deck. [spoiler=EN002 - Prototrap - Monarch] This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Special Summoned. This card can only be Set if the Field Spell "ProtoTrap Heaven" is face-up on your side of the field. This card's effect can only be activated if this card is in Attack Position. After the second Standby Phase after this card's effect has been activated, This card becomes a Continuous Trap Card. This card cannot declare an attack. During each of your Standby Phases, put 1 Proto-Counter on this card (max 10). When there are 10 Proto-Counters on this card you can tribute this card to inflict 2000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. If you choose not to activate this effect, remove 5 Proto-Counters from this card to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand or Deck. This card can only be Set in face-down Attack Position while you control a face-up "ProtoTrap Heaven". If this card is switched to Defense Position, destroy it. After your second Standby Phase after you Set this card, you can flip it face-up (this is not treated as a Flip Summon). During each player's End Phase, put 1 Proto Counter on this card (Max. 10). If this card has 10 Proto Counters on it, you can Tribute this face-up card to select and activate 1 of the following effects:- Inflict 2000 points of damage to your opponent.- Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Prototrap" monster from your hand or Deck. This seems really underpowered in my view. You need to keep it on the field for 10 turns, by which your opponent might have Summoned Caius the Shadow Monarch, Breaker the Magical Warrior or even Brionac. The first will RFP this card, the second destroy your Field Spell (paralysing you), and the third can return this card to your hand, forcing you to restart the entire effect.Added to that, it only has 2000 ATK, so a large number of Level 5 and 6 monsters will be able to overpower it. You need to allow it to be used much quicker and re-think the last effect, since it seems "Prototrap" monsters cannot be Special Summoned. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
