i like that i'm a part of this topic.

also: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-192047-post-3897668.html#pid3897668

is me working on the probabilities, if you want to include that in the heading.

also, i think ddr might be better than descent, or at least worth running.

also, this deck needs kristya. and probably tethys. room must be found.

There's too much to run in this deck. >____<

If we were to throw in every idea, we would have:

Everlasting Life (51)

Monsters (29)

2x Archlord Kristya

2x Freed the Brave Wanderer

2x Dimensional Alchemist

2x Hecatrice

2x Herald of Orange Light

2x Honest

3x Nova Summoner

3x Shining Angel

2x Soul of Purity and Light

2x Tethys, Goddess of Light

2x The Agent of Force - Mars

3x The Agent of Judgment – Saturn

2x Zeradias, Herald of Heaven

Spells (17)

2x Celestial Transformation

2x D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation

1x Giant Trunade

1x Heavy Storm

2x Light of Redemption

3x Spring in the Sky

3x The Sanctuary in the Sky

3x Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen

Traps (5)

2x Bottomless Trap Hole

2x Miraculous Descent

1x Torrential Tribute

That list is too big for forum rules, is too big to work in general, etc.

Athena Burn?

Anyways, I've pretty much figured out what to not use.

If I cut Alchemist and Kristya (they aren't doing the deck any favors, and Kristya's nigh-unsummonable if the deck's working), remove the DDR because it's simply too much RFP recovery, cut Freed for not being really needed, a Celestial Transformation, Light of Redemption and a Tethys to avoid clog...

I get exactly 40 cards.

athena burn can refer to two things. what he's likely referring to is the athena honest otk.

vahalla->athena, activate ultimate offering, normal summon honest, burn 600. return to hand, pay 500, normal honest, burn 600. rinse + repeat.

the other thing is my superbia athena otk. the simplest version is foolish+valhalla+athena+any level 4 or lower fairy with 600 or more attack.

valhalla athena, foolish superbia, normal the fairy, burn 600. swap the fairy for superbia, burn 600, superbia regrabs the fairy, burn 600. attack with all. 1800 burn + 2900 superbia + 2700 athena + at least 600 attack fairy.

this combo can be improved with more athenas in the grave, as superbia can fetch a new athena, who can swap superbia for itself, grabbing a new athena, thus compounding the burn and reducing the number of attacks needed.
