Only the avatar, master of all four elements could stop them

But when the world needed him most he vanished

100 years have passed, and my brother and I discovered the new avatar

A young Airbender named Aang

And although his Airbending skills are great

He has a lot to learn before he’s ready to save anyone

But I believe Aang can save the world.

 

Or at least that’s what I used to think

Right now, theres no world here to save

Aang did well against the Fire Lord

After gaining control of Avatar state, he continued to battle against the Fire Lord

But they channeled so much power from Sozin’s comet that they diverted its path

It crashed

Now the four nations have ceased to exist

The Water Nation is a Barren wasteland

The Fire Nation continues to burn

The Earth Nation has fallen after the destruction of Ba Sing Se

And the Air Nation lies at the bottom of the ocean

Now, there are no more lines of nationality that divide us

There doesn’t need to be any

Each person worries only about himself

There are no friends, no family, and no allies

The balance between our worlds has shattered

Sozins comet changed the very nature of bending

Now, it is not unusual to see a person bending two elements

The Fire Lord escaped with Azula and his followers,

And now they ravage the world.

Aang, my brother Sokka, Toph, Zuko, and I

Are the only ones trying to save the world.

We are trying to gather enough benders

So that we can bend the world back together

But there are hardly any left

And those that remain alive keep to themselves

im thinking of joining but i have a few questions first.

lets say i choose fire and air as my element for Dual Bending does Lightning Bending and Storm Bending counts as Special Sub Elements

 

and how does the Special Sub Element work i got confused a little

He doesn't mean shot liightning he means utter control over it. And yes you can have those if you wished.

 

sub element works live this

all benders after obtaining a high degree of bending skill gain bending prowes abilities that relate to their element.

 

For example Toph who when she was good enough at Earthbending was a metal bender

Or Katara who learned how to bend water from air

or fire benders and lightning/lava

 

Having sub elements means you have complete mastery over your element. Its the highest bending ability of your element.

 

And its optional.

 

And All firebenders have the potential to LB but yu wuud gain storm b/c you can dual bend. Your bending however would be half of that of a normal benders. So a fire bender's lightning is stronger than yours. Does this answer it?

Dual Bending: Fire

The Fire Bending ability was gained by the impact of Sohzens comet. This is explained in the Bio.

 

Special Sub Element: Lightning Bending and Storm Bending

 

Special Ability: Fire Storm. A deadly bending art that can only be achieved when Fire Bending and Air Bending are used in tandem. Using this new art that Iatsu created himself, he is able to wield the power a Fire Bender Gains from Sohzens comet without needing the comet to actually be there. (because we all know that a good strong wind fans the flames, making them burn even more brightly)

 

Weapon: Iatsu has a wooden sheath with a metal interior that he made himself. With it he can use it to create a free forming sword of air of varying sizes and shapes. When using his Fire Storm ability, it creates a blade of fire that is always at least six feet long. He also has a wooden staff that can turn into an air glider, allowing him to travel more quickly.

 

Bio: The Air Nomads were completely wiped out, but not all of the airbenders died. Many of them fled, and eventually hid among the Fire Nations uninhabited forest areas. When Sohzens comet struck, Iatsu was separated from the rest of the surviving Air Nomads at the time, and was able to survive by redirecting the Comets fierce wrath with Storm Bending and barely managing to survive. As a result, he was able to gain the ability to use Fire Bending from the energies that the comet gave off, and is now able to completely blend in with the others who reside in the Fire Nation if he so chooses. However, he wished only to live among his fellow Air Nomads, and so returned to where he and his fellow Air Nomads had made their home. This led him to believe that all of the other Air Nomads had been destroyed by the comet, and so left to return to one of the Air Temples, separating himself from this new chaotic world. However, when he reached where the Air Temples had once stood, he was sorely disappointed to find that all of the air temples were completely submerged.

 

Personality(1+ lines): Iatsu was a very carefree guy up to this point. Now he is just fighting to survive, and hoping that one day, balance might be restored to the world.

Shadow you cant be completely accepted

1. you wouldn't gain storm bending after the comet

2. The whole strong as a firebender should be thing isn't possible considering how your bending strength is halved

3. IReall DoCare about storm bending to survive i suggest since the comet crashed and not even me(Yes I am Aang) could stop I suggest doing something by diverting damage headed your way spefically. but you cannot be the only Airbender to survive in an Entire Nation there will be others.

besides, storm bending is a fire bending art. and shouldn't it stand to reason that using air bending and fire bending in conjunction would make the fire bending much stronger? you do know how winds scatter the flames of forest fire and brush fires to create a fire storm, right? that's the logic behind it, and it is actually quite sound. i do agree that saying that he the only air bender left is a bit much, since there are others who would likely want to be air benders. also, i forgot about the air glider. i'll fix my app so that it's a bit more acceptable. check it in about ten minutes, okay?

Dual Bending: Air- Gained when he was escaping from the fire nation prison. He was resting in a cave with a small pond when Sozin’s comet fell. The impact caused the volcano in the area to become active, and lava broke through the walls of the cave. He tried using the water in the pond to protect himself and to other refugees but the lava kept evaporation the water. Because he was panicy, he didn’t notice and learned mist bending, then air and finally steam before freezing the lava flow.

 

Special Sub Element: Mist and Steam Bending

 

Special Ability: Pressure Point- Compresses air and/or water to form dense high pressure masses. These masses can burst explosively, the power increase depending on the degree of compression. He can also compress the water and air in objects (plants are the only living thing it works on because he cannot affect blood). He generally used the masses as bombs and bullets, but also forms shape crescent shaped ones he calls fangs. When he adds water, he sometimes freezes it to make it harder.

Weapon: None. He makes what he needs from ice.

 

Bio: He was a young fighter from the northern water tribe. He took part in the raid on the fire nation, but was captured. He managed to overpower the guards during his transport and escaped, fleeing from town to town. He eventually joined up with a group of refugees and travelled with them, working to protect them for food. The group was camping in a cave when Sozin’s comet fell, leading to his dual element manipulation. After the comet, he left the group, heading towards the northern water tribe to see if anyone survived there.

 

Personality: Spontaneous and imaginative. A bit of a pervert though and loves to eat. Loyal to friends, but will do almost anything for money.

Weapon: A flexible metal ribon with razor sharp edges. (Ribbonblade) Forged from the remanance of the the commet (Which logically would contain some metal) increases her firebending ability.

Bio: Nix was raised in a Fire Nation military family, however, she disagreed strongly with the Firelord, and would utterly refuse any part in her family's tradition. When Nix deemed herself old enough, she traveled far away from the Fire Nation, spending large amounds of time in Ba Singh Se (spelling?) However, knowing that she would be incapable of bending, she returned to the Fire Nation on the Day of Black Sun. When the comet hit, she survived because at the time she was out on a ship, the shockwave created by the comet caused the boat to capsize and drowned most, but she was fortunate enough to be napping in a lifeboat at the time, The wave washed her far away, and when she woke up she had no idea where she was. eventually, found her way to land.
