Ulike the avatar, Iatsu was greatly irritated by the old womans words. He waited for Aang to leave and start working before he approached the woman and said "He did everything he could to stop the Fire Lord, and yet you repay him with such an attitude? You should be greateful, if it wasn't for Aang, you wouldn't even be alive right now, and all of this would be completely destroyed!" Iatsu made a wide sweeping motion with an arm as he said this and then continued on, not caring how offended he would make them woman by expressing his displeasure at her lack of gratitude. "It's not his fault that you are in such a state, he did all he could, and you would see that if you were not so blinded by grief, as well as the fact that if it wasn't for him, there would be no more earth benders! He would have done to the earth kingdom as Sozin had done to the Air Nomads, so show a little gratitude. Stop complaining, get up on your own two feet, and move forward! He won't always be around, so you people need to learn how to fend for and protect yourselves, not sit around complaining about how you expected something more!" The whole time that he had been speaking, Iatsu didn't allow a chance for the old woman to get a word in edgewise, and the moment he finished, he filled his air glider that he caried on his arms and back with air so that it would open up into wings, and lept to the skies. Forests, huh? There's a lot of wood back at the beach, I'll use my airbending to get it over to the village and start some fires so that the village people will at least be able to have some small comfort.

(Whamo-kun, Aang would not go introducing himself as 'the worlds hero' like that, especially after the fall of Sozins comet. please edit that out so that he is only introducing himself as the Avatar, otherwise it just looks weird. I don't mean to be bossy or anything, but even if some things would have changed about the characaters, Aang is always of a humble sort, so yeah.)

Aang heard Iatsu's response but continued to make the tower for the towns people. So far he had either a glass staircase or a slide strecting to and from the tower. He now bounded up, adding holes in the establishment, to provide windows. As he reached the top, he opened a hole and made a roof. He stood atop his creation and took pieces of rock from the ground and set them in a circle along the roof. The rocks contained phosphorus so he was able to lit them a flame and have them fall through the establishment. He opened a hole on the roof, which he fell through as he sealed off the tower's top, guided the rocks through the walls making vents. Every few meters he would seal off with Earthbending. As he approched the ground, he gathered the rocks underneath the ground and led them straight to a deposit of more rocks with capabilites of holding fire. It was an underground cave filled with coal and phosphorus. Inhaling deeply, he lit the deposit ablaze, with each hole acting as a vent to send heat through the structre.

"Miss, the tower will take another hour or so to finish, so while you all wait, you can gather on the base of the floor. I'll also be making more homes for the rest of the village, but smaller. Build this place into whatever you want it to be, but make sure you keep it up okay!" Aang said to the old woman before raisinh a few homes out of the dirt and proceeding to make stairs and a cooling system for the tower. 'They will defintely need an Earthbender. Let's see if we can find one among the people. If there are any survivors.'

Her eyes snapped open from a deep slumber due to a sudden movement. The earth under her seems to be shaking rapidly. Earthquake? No, its smaller. Much smaller than a earthquake. It feels like a thousand feet heading right towards her. An Ambush? Has the guards found out it was she who took their supply of food? Instinctively, Toph braced herself and raised a big chunk of earth from the ground, ready to send bits of earth flying at her foes as if it was a machine gun.

But there was no need to, they ran right past her in a rush. Whats going on? Toph decided to follow the mob to their destination, where ever it will be. She dashes in their direction, following the waves of their movements until the waves under her ceased. Mumbling all around her, she can barely understand whats going on.

"Tower"..."Glass"..."Magnificent"..."Avatar"

Huh? There is a tower of glass?

"Would someone mind telling me whats going on?" Toph shouts in frustration.

(could you please ask about that over pm instead of doing ooc spam posts? Pm Mr.Wham or Deept97, one of them should be able to give you an answer.)

Iatsu flew back to the shore that he had arrived upon, making sure that he had his Air Glider behind him as he landed on the ground. Looking around, he could see that there was less driftwood then he had thought, although it would still be enough to light a few large fires, or many small ones. Iatsu moves his arms wide in a slow circular motion above his head before shooting them straight upwards. The metal all stayed on the ground, but any nearby driftwood was immediately sent rocketing skyward. That's actually more driftwood then I originally thought. Iatsu thinks as he steps onto his Air Glider again, the portable one on his back and arms folded up and the one that he was standing on lookinf as though it could be some sort of surf board. Holding his arms out to the sides with his arms spread wide, he concentrates and gathers all of the wood around him before rising into the air on his Air glider and heading back towards the village. By the time he had returned, the tower that Aang had been making was finished and he was constructing several smaller homes. Moving towards what he was sure was once the center of the vollage, he left the driftwood that he had brought back with him in a heap there, allowing it to settle on the ground. He then takes a few smaller piles of driftwood from the large pile using Air Bending and directs them over to clearings within the village that was being rebuilt. There he sets them on the ground before tightening his stance. Please work! was all that he had thought before clenching his hands into fists and making punching motions in the direction of each pile of driftwood. He was both surprised and relieved that he was able to control the fire enough in order send streams of flame to each pile of driftwood, lighting them each and starting a fire so that the villagers would be able to have a place to warm themselves and cook some food. and speaking of food, that's the next thing that needs to be taken care of. Iatsu lands on the ground near Katara and approaches her saying "Well, I've got some fires going. Now we just need to put them to use. Would you mind going to the shore with me to help gets some fish for food and water for cooking? I don't think I'd be able to do it efficiently on my own."
