Necro Pheonix
The Running Man, Skeleton Crew, and The Mist are good ones. I have yet to read The Stand and Misery.
EliminateHRN
The only stuff I read by him is the Dark Tower series. However, he's my parents favorite author. I have watched a lot of movies based on his works (like "The Mist", "1408", and I think "The Shining"). From the Dark Tower series, pretty good author. Yugiohrulez!
I saw his movie "Desperation" when it came out, and I recently saw "The Mist". The mist was kinda disturbing.

Necro Pheonix
I forgot about that one! Salem's Lot was one of the best Vampire Story's ever. A good change when everyone was raving about Twilight.

Aximil
I've never been disappointed in any of his books. Not sure which one it was, but I read a book of his that involved a buried spaceship that started to transform the townspeople into alien-like beings and made them geniuses. Theseus
Imagine the campfire stories he could tell. They were meant to scare already, but then add Stephen King and you've got like, an orgy of fright and suspense. But anyways, Cell is pretty good.
