OoC: Yeah, why don't we call it ilovemilkcity? xD. I'm not gonna make up names for a kingdom you came up with.

Saggat briefly inspected the man and looked him in the eyes. "Yes, i am, but i am no knight, i'm just a mere guardsman. Why do you wan to speak with me?" Saggat's senses told him to keep cool but his body was telling him his life would take a gradual change.

The messenger looked at the scroll in his hands, and gave it to Saggat. "When you read the contents, you will know. What's in there, I don't know. Only the Digitus Me'dius knows." The messenger looked around, and began to turn, but carefully looked back to see if he would respond.

Saggat looked at the scroll that was forcibly pushed in his hands and told the messanger to stop walking. "The Digitus Me'dius? Who are the Digitus Me'dius?" Saggat was confused by all of this happening at once "I demand an explanation for all of this. You can start by telling my your name!"

The messenger looked back. "Hey, I'm just a messenger. Nothing more. But the Digitus Me'dius is the Middle Finger of the Hand of Xanth, the Five under the One. The Digitus Me'dius is currently Xilus Tritus XIII. Anything else? You might get more information from that letter than from me." sighed the messenger, hoping to go back to the city. Instead, he grabbed a nearby chair, and sat in it with a torch burning over him as a light.

OoC: What's the letter supposed to say?

The Hand of Xanth? He silently questioned himself. Saggat opened the letter, whilst keeping an eye on the messenger, who looked somewhat mischievous to him. He opened the letter and began to read in himself. "Don't tell me i'm gonna be part of an epic fight of good and evil." He closed the scroll and waited what kind of response the messenger would give.
Suddenly waking up from his sudden sleep' date=' Xilus got up, and whispered. "I think I would require some help."

He rushed to his desk, and grabbed several sheets of paper, and grabbed a quill. He dipped in ink, and began writing at a fast pace. They each wrote the same thing.

[i']To whom it may concern,

You have been chosen, by I, one of the Five under the One, Hand of Xanth council member Xilus Tritus XIII, to help me search for the ancient Relics of Xanth.

As you may have heard of, Sintrionus has escaped from the Realm of the Verscilves, Verscilion. However, I have found the final way to forever banish him to Verscilion, or completely erase him from existence.

This however, is not a simple task. This is of utmost importance, of which cannot be replaced. While you travel with me, expect many rogue attacks and maybe even, if sudden and possible, a face to face occurrence with Sintrionus.

Your cooperation to help me will be written down through history. Surely, as you know, by whether experience or by pure common sense, you know that Sintrionus must be banished for all eternity.

If you so accept, please come, and wait in front of the door to the castle.

Xilus Tritus XIII

He rolled up the papers and sealed them with a spell, and with wax and his ring finger, for enough sufficient proof that he was in fact, the sender. The ring was normally proof enough. He took the scrolls, and went to the barracks next to the castle. He stormed in, and asked in high tone, "Five messengers. I need them now."

They all were silent. Five soldiers jotted up, and walked towards him. They all asked quietly, "Is something wrong, sir?" They were sorta afraid to talk to him in person, especially if he was in high tone.

"No, I just need you five, to send these people." Xilus whispered the names into their ears, each having a different person. "Now go! Make haste!"

--Yeah, five people. But, one is a thief, and can't really send things to thieves. So one will be just like, omitted, in a sense.

"Hey, I'm telling you. I was just sleeping, or resting, and Xanth Member Xilsu Tritus called out some messengers, and I was one of them. He gave me a scroll, the on you're carrying, and told me to deliver it to you, as the scroll would help me. I know nothing about his intentions or anything. Seriously." defended the messenger with recoil.

He stood up for a second, getting ready to leave. "Anyways, if you're tired with your life, maybe you should follow the letter, whatever it says..."

OoC: Nap time is here, see ya!

"Is there any way you could lead me to the castle then?" Saggat asked, still having many questions locked in his mind, though he felt that he shouldn't ask them. He walked towards the messenger and followed him to his horse.

"Um.."

The messenger was unsure, for the castle was in Xanthtionus.

"Yeah, I just came from the city of Xanthtionus, so, that isn't too far. In fact, you can't even miss it. But yeah, you just have to be there, and that everyone else is there too."

He got on top of the horse, and began riding into the forest, back to the city of Xanthtionus.

Edward's boots made a sound that was a cross between a shuffle and a clack on the road to the square as he walked along the stone roads of the city. He had a rucksack of some sort on his back, to carry the goods he was going to buy. As he began to approach the square, a noble looking man was looking around for something specific. A nobleman? In this part of the square? A man like him could probably get far better goods towards the northern part of the merchant's block. Edward walked up to the man, and told him "You know, you are in more of a commoner shopping area. A man of your stature could get far better quality goods a little towards the northern area of the square." Edward pointed towards the north, just beyond the fountain in the center area of the square, which contained high quality, and high priced, merchants that a nobleman would be far better suited to.

As another messenger rode towards his destination, the scroll began to shake. His target was near. When he finally arrived in the city, he noticed someone talking to a nobleman. The scroll shook more and more. He found his man.

He slowly got off the horse, and walked to the man pointing towards the north. "Excuse me, but you just so happen to be Edward Sharlock, right?" The messenger awaited the response from the man.

Saggat arrived at the castle, standing in front of closed gigantic gates Great.. Now what? He thought. ...I have arrived at the spot but i can't get any further. Saggat knocked on the doors, ofcourse, knocking on a gate that's 20 centimeters thick wouldn't help, yelling wouldn't help either, so Saggat sat down and waited.
