Good songs. Personally I liked 80's period better

Everyone was too busy doing lines of cocaine in the 80's to make their music great. I mean' date=' I can [b']tolerate[/b] hair bands, but I'd take Grunge and Punk over anything from the 80's any day. Nineties ftw. Once Rock stars started doing Heroin, everything picked up... except life expectancy... Nirvana peaked, Blink 182 and Sum 41 defined Punk, Sublime tripped us out, and Weezer got started. I love the 90s, vh1, I really do.

Touche'. But every group has its outliers, and Iron Maiden were part of a small group from the 80s with actual talent. I liked Skid Row and Quiet Riot too, but I won't judge a decade of music from a few decent bands among crap like Flock of Seagulls, Winger, and Human League...

Bon Jovi' date=' Poison, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Several other bands. You can't diss the 80's wih great bands like these.

Metallica and Bon Jovi have had hits in every decade since they started, so they can't just count toward the 80s. And Poison sounds like every other Hair Band. So, yes, I can diss the 80s.

I guess I'm just into more mellow stuff than you.

EDIT: I just noticed Minas Alvertis misspelled Soundgarden

Rock Music suffered during teh 90's for me. Freddie Mercury had died, Dickinson had been replaced by Bayley, and all we had were Nu-Metal to guide us.

I suppose if I had to pick a few 90's songs that I liked, they would be:

Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden

Bring your Daughter... To The Slaughter by Iron Maiden

The Clansman by Iron Maiden

To Be With You In Heaven by The Scorpions

No Pain No Gain by The Scorpions

Walk on Water by Dio
