i wanna build a Trap Monster deck, i dont know what to collect or if its worth my time, any advice?

If you want to focus on inflicting Damage, use Zoma the Spirit.

 

If you run a Machine-type Deck, use Machine King - 3000 B.C.

Trap Monster deck? Do you mean you want a deck with lots of traps? If so, you could try for a milling deck (deck focuses on making your opponent deck out and lose) or a burn deck that is focused on inflicting direct damage.

you forget, custom only protects continuous traps. that leaves the counters, normals and trap monsters vulnerable. fake trap protects all traps.

However, Custom give permanent protection to his trap monsters, as well as protecting them from battle destruction.

 

Doing a better job at protecting those trap monsters is more important. Further, Custom can be Uria food too, unlike Fake Trap.

it can be, but custom would block something like an mst. to a heavy storm, custom and fake trap work the same. and stuff like that is my main fear.

We were discussing which was better here between Fake Trap and Imperial Custom. Both have their upsides and downsides.

true. fake trap isnt continuous, so its less effective for stopping waves of breakers and such, but fake trap protects all traps, not just continuous, so its better for warding a jd or heavy storm
