1st Remake

I've always liked the Dark Magician but I've always wanted him to have some sort of an effect so I decided to combine him with his own Spell card Dark Magic Attack. I figured since spell counters and Spellcasters go hand in hand now a days I would use that as a way to activate his effect. I decided to give him a new name as well since its the darker form of Dark Magician.

 

 

[spoiler=lore]This card's name is treated as "Dark Magician" while it is face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. Each time a Spell card is sent to the Graveyard place 1 Spell Counter on this card (max 5). By removing 5 Spell Counters from this card, destroy all Spell and Trap cards on your opponent's side of the field.

 

 

Oh yeah I wanted to do a Dark Magician Girl to go along with it but I couldn't find her pic just yet.

Its alright but not awesome. Instead of "By removing" say "You can remove". I like the concept but the card is completely vulnerable and could be easily destroyed based on the variety of cards that are out now. All in all I'd give this card a 6/10 ;)

I wasn't going for something over the top. I hate playing decks like that now. Like the Blackwings. God those cards are horrible. I was just trying to make something simple yet effective for a Dark Magician.
