Gogeta™
Card Lore This card can only be activated when your opponent activates a Spell Card that would destroy monsters on your side of the field. Negate the activation and effect of that card and destroy it and all Face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field.
Hyenn
OCG: "opponent's side of the field". And I dunno, I guess it is balanced more or less, so good job.

-Griffin
Side against Gadgets/Xabers which run both Slash&LV?Eh, I'm not sure if I'd really use it, but I suppose it could be sideable for some match-ups, although I still would probably prefer to side Cydra(Zwei) against them. Decent card.

StevenBray
I hate to be Captain Buzzkill here, but how can anyone find this card to not be OP! This card negates the destruction of your monsters, and then destroys all face-up monsters on your opponent's field. And considering its a counter trap makes it extra hard to negate, so that's pretty much taking your opponent's offense and kicking it squarely in the nads! OCG:"...side of the field" (eg. opponent's side of...) = "... field" (eg. opponent's field)"Face-up" = "face-up". Pic is alright, but pretty basic. Rating: 0/10 - This card cripples your opponent's field and has 0 drawbacks - this is a massive OP FAIL!
Tronta
stevenbray is pretty stupid, but he's actually right. mostly for silly reasons. the fact is, this card is overpowered. the reasoning is that its too much instantaneous advantage. the common destruction card this would counter is lightning vortex, which is already a -2. its supposed to make up advantage by killing monsters, however with this card, you -1 yourself to do up to -7 total to the opponent. a total advantage shift of -6 in your favor with one card. obviously they wont likely have 5 monsters out, but consider an average of 2. you're still creating a +3 advantage here. that's disgusting. add a discard cost. only one though. the situational nature will make up for the rest. RedRaptor10
original =/= good card i like this card. 9/10. would be 10/10 if it had a better picture no offense ^_^

I'll add a discard drawback but really there are a lot of cards in the TCG that are very powerful yet they don't have any drawbacks so to me the effect is okay as it is. stevenbray is pretty stupid' date=' but he's actually right. mostly for silly reasons. the fact is, this card is overpowered. the reasoning is that its too much instantaneous advantage. the common destruction card this would counter is lightning vortex, which is already a -2. its supposed to make up advantage by killing monsters, however with this card, you -1 yourself to do up to -7 total to the opponent. a total advantage shift of -6 in your favor with one card. obviously they wont likely have 5 monsters out, but consider an average of 2. you're still creating a +3 advantage here. that's disgusting. add a discard cost. only one though. the situational nature will make up for the rest.[/quote'] I was thinking about a discard cost. Shaco
Smashing ground, Hammer Shot, Fissure = every face-up monster your opponent controls destroyed. Seems OP'd to me, but it would certainly be one way to completely halt any use of monster destruction (in the form of spells).
DARKPLANT RISING
Smashing Ground, Lightning Vortex, Shield Crush, Fissure... many cards can destroy your monsters. And here Raigeki Storm comes. This is the ultimate splasher in any Highlevel Beatdown deck like a Lightsworn or Tele-DAD. So 8/
-Griffin
...No, it really isn't, Kenta.People don't understand that there aren't that many Spells run that destroy monsters right now. Smashing, LV, Saber Slash and Fissure are all that come to mind. Most Decks won't run more than 2 of those, so this is going to be a dead draw unless you're playing Gadgets, IMO. Side-tech only. Gogeta™
So basically this card is a "just in case" type card. You never know what your opponent might pull so I'd run this for safety or at least put it in my side deck for a match.
-Griffin
That is probably the most common attitude shown by awful Deck builders, "just in case" is a terrible reason to run a card. This should never take one of your 40 Main Deck slots, and I'd probably use something else before giving up a Side Deck slot. Its a possible side if Gadgets are particularly common in an area, but not needed otherwise. -Griffin
You should probably look into it, and into how the game plays at the moment, before trying to balance any cards. Then again, most people posting here need to do that, but one at a time, I suppose.
Tronta
expand the effect to any type of effect that destroys monsters. this covers jd, dad, celest, ryko murmillo and gyz. and probably more, i need to update my list for xsabers, flamvells, etc. of course then its just a waaaayyyy better destruction jammer.
