Possibly the best card I've ever made - The Mad Hatter

The Mad Hatter

I love music, and after listening to Bowling for Soup for 3 straight hours, I got this idea. The OCG is off, I know, but I'm tired, and don't feel like fixing it right now. Please, enjoy! ;)

Lore:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by it's own effect. When this card is drawn, Special Summon it to your side of the field. During the End Phase of the turn this card was Special Summoned, remove it from play and Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower monsters to your side of the field from your Deck. During each of your Standby Phases, after this card was removed from play, you take 500 points of Damage.

Simply broken. The life point cost is negligible compared to receiving two level 4 monsters. Splashable in most any deck, it can create swarm, summon key monsters, make an easy Synchro, and can even be tribute fodder for Monarchs. About the only thing it ruins is Cyber Dragon, but a tribute summon can get around that.

The effect is interesting, just not balanced.

Maybe you should change 500 to 1000. That'd be giving balance.

As easy as the two monsters or this card itself can be abused and end the game quickly, the life point cost will not make much of an affect on the player using it. If, instead of a life point cost, the monsters were destroyed during the player's next standby phase, then it could be interesting as a GB support (coupled with Waboku), filling the grave, providing defense, and could be used with monsters with effects activating upon their destruction.

it's should be its (in the text)

"During each of your Standby Phases, after this card was removed from play, you take 500 points of Damage." <----this makes it a little on the UPed end for slowly killing you this way

I'd change it to as long as it stays in your removed from play pile, THEN each turn it'll burn you for 500

9/10
