Saiba Aisu
Hello, everyone. So, anyways, I have recently decided to focus on extending my cardmaking work for my current writing project, Days of the Black Apple. In this case, I decided to give you guys a sneak peak at another of the many Japanese-styled cards cards which will be featured in my current writing project, Days of the Black Apple. This card is the signature monster of the Tragic Romance Deck featured in Chapter Six. This Deck is used by Caroline Lace, one of the central characters in the story. As always, your comments and suggestions are appreciated. Jazin Kay, I don't mind you taking these images and using them for your Photobucket archive like you did with Torture Dragon, just be sure to credit me with finding them. === The Heart-Broken Maiden - Image by Photobucket. The Heart-Broken MaidenLevel 6LightFairy-Type/Ritual/EffectATK 0 / DEF 0This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Betrayal of Love". This card cannot be destroyed by battle while it is in Attack Position. When you take an amount of Battle Damage equal to 1000 or higher from a battle involving this card, you can select and take control of the monster that battled with this card. You must also offer from the field or your hand monsters whose total Level stars equal 6 or more as a tribute.
ragnarok1945
only the last effect of the ritual monster is OPed Reshef's take control effect has a higher cost than that, and it wasn't even a permanent one. So at the very least put restrictions on the monster you're taking control of 7.9/
Guest Lily
Lemme guess, Maiden of Love Deck or something along those lines? >.<"But yeah... I actually don't know what to think of this card. I mean, I thought it would of been OPed at first, but... You can easily lose with it unless you get something else out quickly. But yeah, for once I don't know what to think. You've done better :/
Saiba Aisu
Okay, I'll address everyone's comments one at a time in order. Ragnarok: Well of course it's a powerful effect. A Level 6 Ritual with 0 ATK and 0 DEF that only features a semi-battle immunity? That's pathetically weak. Also, Reshef's effect is way more powerful in most cases, so I'm not exactly sure what you mean. For starters, there's no way your opponent will willingly attack this card, meaning that you'll be forced to do, drastically dropping your Life Points in the process. Basically, this card only works by you connecting successful attacks in spite of your opponent's Traps, taking high amounts of damage, and managing to protect this card from destruction. It's not overpowered at all. Queen: Uh, no, not exactly. And thanks, I am glad that you at least can understand that this card isn't overpowered. What about the card makes you so uncertain to place a decision upon it, and what about it do you think could be improved? More comments, please! Guest Ixigo
Aww, you know I love those cards... the Maiden's picture is probably one of the best you've ever found, and the concept is lovely. With the current Ritual support this would even be somewhat competitive O_o.
Saiba Aisu
Ah, thanks, Ixigo. Yes, I have a certain soft spot for these cards, as well. And the concept is lovely, but only because it's the perfect marriage of your innovation with my editing! xD Yeah, with some of the Ritual support that's currently out (the Djinn series, for example), this card could cause some serious trouble for the opponent. Thanks for the comment, and it's good to see you around again. More comments, please!
psychicplayer
Well at least it isn't as OPed as Relinguished. I mean take control of the monster use its ATK and DEF, when it's attacked your opponent takes damage. This is a less extended version of Relinquished. I say 8.9/
Saiba Aisu
Thanks, Psychic. Yeah, she's not overpowered at all, and is handled well by several cards, including Book of Moon or Emergency Controller. Still, she has her benefits over Relinquished, as well. Thanks for the comment and the decent rating. More comments, please!
