Death. What most people fear. The stopping of their heart, the closing of their eyes, and the beginning of their eternal sleep. However, what happens to what makes you feel without touching, see without looking, and understand without hearing?

 

When a person dies, their soul goes into a completely different dimension, and a second life, as most peoples of the Earth had believed throughout time. What they didn't know, is that it isn't eternal. When a soul expires, which is after 500 years. Sometimes, there is a special Soul, that has no experation date, because of a very strong emotion that the soul kept on to until death. They are also rumored to have special abilities.

 

If the second life man predicted exists, than is the theory of Hell true, as well? Yes, it is. Tainted Souls, are souls that were tainted by an immoral emotion. They create very awful creatures, which have one instinct: To eat souls. If they eat enough souls, they can enter Earth, and wreak havoc.

 

You are one of those Special Souls, and you are called by the other souls to help stop the leak of souls going on to Earth, and stop the ones already on Earth. You must tap the power of your emotion that had let you survive eternity, now you must help humanity survive the eternity.

Personality: Devin is a very strong willed person. He hates giving in, he hates losing, and he has a very strong sense of pride. When he's more relaxed, he is very excited and spirited. He enjoys being humorous, and sometimes even enjoys relaxing a little. He likes being a tad social every know and then, and talking to people is always interesting for him. When he's angry, it never ends well, and an angry Devin Harley is always a combustable element.

 

Appearance: Devin is somewhat tall, and stands at a decent 6'. His overall body build is a muscular build, but with no actual visible muscle tone. His hair is a shaggy and wavy chestnut brown, and his eyes are a deep blue. He always wears a zipped up brown hoodie, with a neon green nuclear waste sign that is across the zipper area. He also wears a pair of blue jeans, with a darker shade of blue, and has many pockets. On his feet he wears a pair of black sneakers.

 

Bio: Devin was always a very spirited person. He grew up in a town in southern Washington, on the West Coast of the United States. He always wanted to become a architect, and always made models out of styrofoam, plastic, out of everything you could think of as a kid. He also enjoyed running through the woods behind his back yard when he was younger.

 

During elementary, middle, and high school, he never cared what anyone thought of him, and had the security to know who he was. When he graduated high school, he decided he was going to go to a college in Virginia, where he could learn architecture. He had a heart attack when he woke up on the day he was supposed to leave for Virginia. The thoughts he had in his mind when he died was "No..... not.... now! I.... can't..... die yet!"

Personality: Sarah was never the kind of person who would hurt a fly - literally. She's always focused on kindness and goodwill, she's easily forgiving, she always has an optimistic output regardless of how pessimistic the situation is, and if she sees a person in need she will give them some money. She always tries to see the good side of people, and although she is generally well-liked and easy to get along and trust, she can be seen as an easy target for tricksters and conmen. This trait of her personality would later become the cause of her death.

 

Appearance: Sarah stands at 5'9", and has shoulder length terracota brown hair. Her wide eyes are a light green. She often wears a casual blouse with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, and a black waistcoat. On her lower half are a pair of dark blue jeans, and on her feet are usually a pair of violet 2-inch heels. She carries a beige-white shoulder bag with tassels, and she usually has more bangels and bracelets on her right hand than her left. She also wears a long necklace that drapes over her torso.

 

Bio: Sarah was born to middle class parents in England, and lives with two brothers - one older than her by four years, and one younger than her by two years. She was brought up normally, and from a young age, she has been the favourite of all her teachers due to her good, obedient nature. She was noted to be especially good at Maths and, later in Year 6, Chemistry.

 

Sarah has always wanted to be either a scientist or a social worker, and she decided to be a social worker in the end. Since leaving school with good GCSEs, it was only natural that she took Health and Social Care, Psychology, Sociology and Chemistry when she entered college. Sarah happily spent the next two years in college, and had had her UCAS form (the form to get into university) sorted out, and subsequently was given a place at her chosen university, when her untimely death happened. It happened in July; one evening, Sarah had gone to the cinema with her boyfriend. After seeing the film, at about nine o'clock, they were returning home when her boyfriend suddenly pushed her into an alleyway, withdrew a knife and stabbed her in the chest. She was left to die, and although it had been her boyfriend who had killed her, she still forgave him and it was her love that saved her as she finally died from bleeding.

Personality: James is quite quirky, and many people would describe him as 'odd' and 'strange', among other things. He is usually very quiet, but can have bursts of emotion. He is extremely bright, and has perfect grades in school. Many people have tried to bully him, but he has an impenetrable mind, and no one can daunt him. James is also enormously determined, and stubborn. Once he sets his mind to a task, he will not stop until the task has been completed, or he has been seriously wounded.

Appearance: James stands at six feet, two inches tall. He has dark brown hair and keeps it straight, and styled down to shoulder length. His body is sturdy, and he is lean but muscular. He wears dark blue jeans, with leather cowboy boots. His shirts are usually button-up, plaid or flannel shirts, blue or red in color. He wears either a black cowboy hat, or a brown cowboy hat. Sometimes, he wears a pair of dark sunglasses over his eyes.

Bio: James died when he was twenty years old. He had had everything: a girlfriend, his own house, he was even engaged. When the two of them tried to have kids, James and her learned that she was sterile, and could not have children at all. So the two of them went and adopted a child. James could not have been any more happier in his whole world. He raised her, and loved her with all his might. (

describes how he feels). Then one day, while he was driving her to school, a drunk driver in a large SUV crashed into the small minivan. It was obliterated, yet the child was lucky enough to live. Unfortunately, James could not be saved. He was rushed to the hospital, and they tried to start his heart back up. But after a few moments of trying to start his heart back up, he was pronounced dead. His funeral was held two weeks later; his whole family, and his girlfriend, showed up and celebrated his life.

Saving Emotion: Justice

 

Personality: Mero is more of a, "hit me I hit you back" kind of person. He is not really kind to people, but more along the lines of self attentive, but somehow always cares for others in need. He looks more disgusted and disturbed at seeing something stupid than anything, but in truth, he sees things all as neutral until something happens. His dislike for unjust things happening without a punishment drives him mostly insane, he can't sit still. If someone were to get beaten up on the streets, he would actually take punishment onto the beater, with whatever punishment is required. However, he is usually carefree about things happening to him, that aren't to that point where he has to do something about it, like, someone breaking up.

 

Appearance: Mero is of a tall stature of easily 6' 5" with semi-muscularity overall. Although his hair dark colored, and is quite messy, tending to get in his face a lot, his bright colored eyes are easily visible, even in his messed hair. He usually wears clothing that are not entirely loose, they are tight enough (He believed that there was some zombie Apocalypse or such coming, during his life time). He has a few scars that remain from how he died, on his hands, across his eyes, and over his mouth. He reveals the scars as much as possible, not to show them off, but to remind him fully of what happened around the time of his death. He has a wrap around his right forearm, from a burn he experienced from when he was a little kid. He doesn't let that bother him too much, so he leaves it covered (Hey, he was a kid, what can you say?).

 

Bio: Mero was of 19 years old when he last lived. He was mainly interested in the laws and justice systems. His primary goal in life was to be a Prosecutor, as was his father happened to be. It wasn't a influenced job from his father, but he hated the punishment not being applied in this world. He got into fight at school primarily because of something like this, because he was the one who tried to do something about what went around his environment. One day, when he came home, his parents were arguing each other about something retarded in his absolute opinion. Then, Mero's father took the sharpest knife from the kitchen, and stabbed Mero's mother to absolute death. Witnessing this, Mero grabbed the family claymore (an heirloom that was passed from generation to generation), and applied punishment on his father. His father, grabbed the knife from the body of the dead mother, and slashed at Mero's face a few times. Dropping the sword, his fists clenched to protect him, although bleeding to death from his eyes and mouth. He grabbed the claymore, barely standing, and stabbed his own father in the lungs, and taking the sword out. With his last breath, he grabbed the a scale (Justice scale), he held it in his left hand, and the claymore in the right, he muttered, "Lady Justice is with me, but not you..."

Personality: Orina is a very stubborn person. She always refuses to do what the others are doing. If everybody us in a gang she creates her own one girl gang. Most people thought she was crazy for doing everything the hard way. She would break the law just to show she didn't follow anybody's rules. If someone challenged her she would do anything to prove them wrong adn that meant anything.

Appearance: Orina is averagly tall. She's kinda skinny. She has knee waist green-dyed hair with different shades of green thoughout her hair. Wears a long faint green silk dress all the time because its different than other girls. Orina usally wears a diamond engagment ring. Also never wears make up but has two daimond ear rings.

Bio: Orina growing up had almost no money. She got into a privite school because she was able to copy off someone's paper on an exam abd got a perfect score. At the private school she join an all girl gang but made her own one girl gang and angered many people during her gang membership time. One night the police caught up with her criminal record and she was sent to jail. She toughed it the first week then an extremely rich guy bailed her out who appartenly had fallen in love with her at school. She had secretly like the boy in school and he proposed and of course she said yes gaining her engagement ring. Before they could get married a gang that stayed together after their school years and remembered her and she was shot a week before her wedding. Even then she tried everyway to get back to the mortal world on Earth. She has never given up on her effort of getting back to her future husband during her time in the death demision.

These conflicting emotions also create this other side of her that is this shy defensive girl that doesn't know what she wants. Whenever she shows that side she usualy just blush's or stares at you like you murdered someone.

Appearance: Britney is about 5'4. SHe has long flowing brown hair, with streaks of pink,purple and she has a small star shapped piece of blond hair. The hair is located where her hair covers her left eye. She usualy wears a sunflower that she spray paints the center pink and the pedals purple. She wears a punkish looking shirtt thats pink at the bottom, and as it goes up its changing into purple and it shows the different shades it goes through. Their is also a star-shapped cut on her shirt revealing her belly button and her piercing that is on her belly button. She usualy wears a pair of Purple jeans that have the sides painted pink. She wears reguler white shoes that have been spray paint the base Purple and the shoelaces and rim around the shoe pink. Britney also wears a jacket over her shirt, the jacket is black with little tiny hearts that are Pink and Purple and in the middle of the jecket is a big Pink circle and in Purple letters it says 'Love has no fear, But Love is its own fear itself' .For her jewelery she wears a Pink Rhinestone necklace with a purple gem hanging from it, inside the gem is a small grain of rice that has her name on it. She wears two earings, her left one is a Purple Dolphin and her right one is a Pink shark to show her two sides, the calming and creative side and the angry defensive side. Her tongue ring is a Purple based skull and its eyes are pink. She has a tatto on her stomach just above her belly button. The tatto is showing a Pink calming dolphin to the left of her, the dolphin is split in half by a squigly white line revealing a Purple revaging shark with its teeth showing.

Bio: Britney was born in a upper middle class family. She usualy didn't have to ask for things cause her parents go ther whatever she wanted. Britney is a very creative girl as she loves to Dance, Sing and Paint. She desires to become a fashion designer or to just become the newest artist that everyon got on their ipods. She was entirely happy with her life until she had her fortune told. Her an dher friends went to this magic teller because they were realy bored one day. The fortune teller saw Britneys future and told her 'You beware of the man on the corner, give into his demands, or else your demise will come from the thing you most desire, that is when you are vulnerable and then he will strike like a wolf'. Britney has just dismissed this telling and left the fortune tellers.

 

That very same day a man that was poor and on a street corner begged her for money. She had just drove off without a word. She was in a rush because a man had decided to see if she could sing and if she could, he would sign her to a record label. Britney was called into a room that was dark. She sat down only to be trapped by the man that begged her for money that same day. The man had smacked Britney on the side with a lamp knocking her unconsciouss. When Britney woke up she saw the man cutting off the fleash of her stomach. She attempted to scream but her mouth was gagged shut. She struggled to move but when she did the man had cut a huge chunk of her stomach off, leading to her stomach to accidently fall out of her body and they she lay still, dead because of something she loved.

Personality: When he was alive, he was greedy, and dishonest, but when he died, everything about him changed. He may seems quiet at a distance, but when you get to know him, his sense of humor is that he likes to play the “Dissatisfied Humorist” part. He isn’t really caring, or too motivated unless you are diagnosed with cancer, or have your arm ripped off (which is quite ironic, since everyone around him now is dead). Aside from his sense of humor, he actually an pretty good poet, songwritter, but he can't play any unstruments, which is made up for his voice. Another notable difference from his days living on Earth, S'ai is honestly intelligent, yet sarcastic. He doesn't break a sweat under pressure, which makes him seem rather relaxed compared to his comrades. However, he's easily irritated by his enemies and often wants to end anything in a quick and efficient manner.

 

Basically likes to play the "Dissatisfied Humorist" although his sense of humor can be hard to tell, because he does it in a mean way, and it is considered rude. But most of the time, he's quiet.

 

 

Appearance: He wears an eye patch covering his left eye that has been shot out, has medium length wavy hair that’s black, and normally wears BDUs (Battle Dress Unifroms). But when he it isn’t wearing BDUs, he would normally wear a black trench coat, and boots. His height is 6”2. Moving on from his attire, his body is somewhat built, since he tries to stay in shape. On a side note, he's quiet attractive, and handsome.

 

Bio:

 

While S’ai was still alive he grew up without an mother, since she died giving birth to him. He was also in the U.S. Green Berets with his father Lance O‘naw, and was quite young for his position (he was 23). But because of it, he became greedy, and selfish, which had cost his father’s life when was K.I.A. (Killed In Action). After his father’s death, S”ai became in alcoholic, and drug addict, and was forced to quit the Green Berets.

 

But was called back into duty when he was needed to help defend an cargo truck from attacks. Luck for him however, was against him, since he team was nearly wiped out, and with few members left, he was tempted to leave them, when an grenade went off near him, but S’ai was lucky enough to be alive, when he noticed a sharp, burning pain in his left eye.

 

Finally realizing that the shrapnel hit his eye, and the rest of his body. He was unable to move. With death seconds away, S’ai grabbed his knife, and stab his left eye, trying to get the buring shrapnel from his eye. When he was done, his eye was still intact, and it looked back at him with regret, and greed.

 

Turning his attention from the eye, S’ai noticed his team was dead before him, and he finally realized that he was reason that they died, cried from both eyes, and begged for forgiveness. Then shouted “Remnants of my Father!! Blood of my Mother!! I cannot throw this away!!” and ate his eye, in efforts to scare his attackers. But was soon followed by a shower of lead. With his fading thoughts being “I wish I was a better leader, a loving man……a respectable man…..”

A man who set off to the world, determined to someday become a big writer. A genius, he always thinks about what will come next before acting. He never stops what he once started, ever. He also goes against anything that goes in front of him. He is always calm and cool, but in truth is a honest and caring person. After death, he got over it quickly, which is evidence of his strong mentality.

 

 

Tall, about 190 cm (don't know feet, I'm Japanese), black eyes and wide glasses. He's a little skinny. Also, wears a suit you would wear to a company. Always smiling and sunny.

 

Adam had promised to his parents he will once publish his own best-selling book. After years of hard work, he had won top prizein a Writing Contest which promised to publish the book to its top. However, while going to the company to do so, his car was hit by a gigantic truck hard, and he instantly died. As he did so, the promise he had with his parents came back to his mind, and he was reincarnated into the soul he is now.

Saving Emotion: Sehnsucht (intense longing for an unknown object/person/fulfillment)

 

Personality: Taiki is incredibly ambitious and is willing to learn something and excel at it for the sole purpose of being good at it. He is not competitive though, as he simply wants to do good on his own standards, not the standard of society or of the professionals of the trade. He is pretty much a 'jack of all trades, master of none'. He always has to be doing something and when he is doing nothing productive or something he deems as useless or unecessary, he will become restless and unfocused.

 

Appearance: 5' 7", thin frame, North Asian skin. Unnatural dark red hair that is usually unkempt and spiked every which way. His golden yellow eyes are large and curious. His usual outfit is a modified (by himself of course) black gakuran uniform that is looser on his body, has a gold yellow diamond pattern all over the top and bottom and has an open collar, giving him the image of a estranged ghoul of a casino. His most distinguishing feature is a slight cleft on his upper lip, giving him a permanent cat-like smile.

 

Bio: Taiki was born to a rich family in Japan, who owned a large estate in Hokkaido. His parents isolated Taiki from the outside world, fearing the corruption of the lower classes. They spoiled him with the best and newest toys from the far corners of the world. They hired the best tutors from across Japan and the world for his education, giving him a well rounded education that would make many scholars envious. From this education, Taiki became fluent in seven different languages (Japanese, English, French, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic). Despite living the best life a child could live, at age 12, he became very dissatisfied with his condition, recieving his first taste of sehnsucht. With his parents wealth, he travelled across Japan, learning various trades and practices, hoping one would bring him peace. Among the things he learned were judo, kenjutsu, kendo, weaving, clothing design, paper making, calligraphy and flying an airplane. At age 18, he travelled to Mexico to try his hand at archaeology. Unfortunately, his trip did not end well. While studying a dig site in the ruins of a Mayan city, locals attacked the archaeologists for past grievances and their higher privileges given by the government. Despite being rather innocent, Taiki was killed in the crossfire. His feeling of unfulfillment allowed his soul to live one, eternally searching for something that will bring an end to his longing.
