Mendatt the Elf Mage
The Avenging archtype is a relatively well thought-out (In my opinion) archtype that has two sub-types: Justiciar, and Demonic. All of the monsters have the same sort of effect: If they are sent to the graveyard, you special summon their counterpart from your graveyard and activate an effect. It may seem somewhat OP, but remember, you have to have the card in your graveyard in the first place to special summon it, and removing cards from play could really bug up the works in Avenging decks. Archlord Kristya and Royal Oppression would be hell to one.Constructive criticism would be appreciated. Also, ideas for more Avenging monsters, and tips on making an archtype, would be appreciated just as much. Mendatt the Elf Mage
Huh?... My apologies, but I am relatively new to yugioh... Or at least, I have no idea what you just said. Can you please explain? Link to comment
CrabHelmet
Any pair of these combined with Mass Driver, Cannon Soldier, Toon Cannon Soldier, or any comparable card produces an OTK. Of course, these cards are horribly broken anyhow, since they're essentially immune to everything unless the opponent has RFP power available, but that's the most obvious way to abuse them. (Another way to abuse them: Lightlords.) Link to comment
Mendatt the Elf Mage
I see. I didn't realize that...Change time!(Drumroll, please?)They now are special summoned during your standby phase. That fixes it, right?(Goes to edit that in.) Link to comment
