Poison Viper

When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases as long as this card remains face-up on the field.

 

I may not be too familiar with Venom monsters, but I think this card can work in those reptile burn decks. I didn't want to make this overpowered, so it has weak ATK. If it directly attacks your opponent twice, it's equivalent to a 1400 attacker attacking twice. If it doesn't attack the 2nd time, it'll just be 1900 total damage. Hope you like it, as my most recent card didn't get good ratings. v_v

Indeed you don't, as seeing it can't be treated as part of the "Venom" archetype unless you rename it.

 

THOUGH, I still like the card. That's one pissed off looking snake. Though I can't say I've ever really seen a happy one. Unless you count Serpentine Princess...

I was originally gonna go with the name "Venom Viper" but that would mean it would have to be a venom monster and venom monsters are supposed to add venom counters and such to wither down the enemy's monsters, so instead I just went with Poison Viper. And thanks for the rates. That's the first 9/10 i got from ragnarok. o.O

So wait, does the burn happen after it inflicts damage or anytime during the turn. If the last one is it, then you don't need if it inflicts battle damage.

It happens after it inflicts battle damage, just like if a snake bit you you would be poisoned. :P
