Very interesting Archetype you have here. They all work well together without having really high levels.

 

And I <3 Lightning Rod. It's their Black Whirlwind. Love the pictures too.

only for Lord of the Bolt you can shorten: "You can Tribute 1 Thunder-Type monster you control to negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect that would destroy this card on the field, and destroy that card." <-instead of saying Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster's Effect, you can just say negate the activation of a Card Effect

 

but there's nothing wrong with the OCG or effects, so the 3 new cards I'll give you 9.9/10

"Lord of the Bolt" is like "SDD" + "Brionac" lol.

The Spell Card is cool as well, useful in this deck.

Raiden is a mini Brio. Which I <3.

The hammer is... quite a beatdown equip. I like the piercing though.

Both new monsters have a Brionac effect. The Spell is really strong imo, but no need to change it. C:

The spell effect is not a normal piercing btw..

It works even if the opponent is in Attack mode.

Well, sure.

If it attacks a, say..2000 ATK monster, with 1000 DEF, your opponent would lose 400 battle damage, and 1400 more by piercing.

Course, it is also helpful in some other situations, like,

Attacking a Stardust Dragon, Sure, this guy dies, and you lose 100, but your opponent loses 400 as well.

Who knows what situations you can use that for ;)

So "BEWD" attacks a monster with 3000 ATK and 0 DEF your opponent will lose at least 3000 LP... Hope I calculated it right xD

 

EDIT: "BEWD" is not a Thunder-Type monster... Lol *facepalm*

Ya do realize the effect IS limited to this one card..right? XD

So, if he attacks a attack position monster with 2400 / 0, both would die, and the opponent would lose 2400 LP :D

However, Bolt is made to be sort of difficult to pull out. Ya need to tribute 3 monsters.

With the exception of Bolt Crusader, the way this set is, you'll usually end up with 2 monsters on the field. Any more takes some strategy.
