Meh. I run a common team at times. I honestly don't care.

I like the song what's wrong with it?

How about Ultimate show then?

Nah' date=' reserve boss music for the admins and up....

How about that?

Actually scratch that.

My fight music.

One of my many themes.

Remastered version or not, it's godlike.

My team is actually less common than one would think.

Feraligatr, since most people choose a Cyndaquil starter.

Dragonite, since most people are too lazy to train a Dratini to Lv55 (but mine is event, :O).

Ampharos... which is common. D:

Ninetales, since most people would run Arcanine or Houndoom or ANY OTHER BETTER FIRE TYPE.

Absol, since most people don't use it on their team or would defer to a faster physical attacker.

Ampharos is the only reliable Electric-type early game, and has amazing type coverage. Discharge, Signal Beam and Power Gem are ALL level-up moves, meaning you don't need to waste more than one TM on it. I can see why it is so common, but it sucks in competitive play.

I don't need to level a Dratini up to 55. I need to level a 45 Dragonair I got from the Safari Zone to 55.

Also, I love Dragon, Dark, and Psychic Pokemon. I just love them. Also, my team sucks. Half of it is Uber. However, I have to say, Mewtwo and Ho-Oh carried the entire Red battle on their backs.

Mewtwo - 74 (One hit killed Pikachu, and killed most of Red's Pokemon.)

Ho-Oh - 71 (Went 1 on 1 with Red's Charizard for a long time with like, 8 Ancient Powers because of Restores by Red. Good thing I had ethers.)

Lugia - 59 (Was pretty much stall for revives and potions, and landed an Aeroblast on Venasaur.)

Typhlosion - 48 (Stall for items.)

Ampharos - 48 (Stall for items.)

Onix - 48 (HM slave.)

Yeah, my team. I'm trying to make a legit, non-uber team.

My in game team was

Espeon

Typhlosion

Ampharos

Lapras

Ho-oh /uber

Plus a Geodude for slavery.

Eevee refused to be happy, but when it finally evolved, Espeon was godly.

Amphy was amazing throughout the entire game.

Typhlosion was my starter, so he was automatically great. (Considering I overleveled him throughout much of the game.)

Lapras almost never died. <3

I only used Ho-oh in emergencies. Like for Red. >_>

I was too lazy to trade over a Bibarel, so Geodude was my slave. Sorry, guys.

...I thought you chose Totodile as your starter. What happened to the Feraligatr love we once had? D:<

Lapras is an interesting choice, but I already have a Water-type. Yeah, that's the only problem with Feraligatr. It has too much competition.

For Gym Leaders, I was always at least 5 levels underleveled. Yet, most of the time, because of TMs I bought, and because of type advantages that I almost always had, I beat most Gym Leaders on the first try.

I got seriously lucky throughout this game.

My analytical mind took over after I realized there were literally no Fire-types in Johto, and a shitload of Water-types.

So I restarted my game. I feel guilty about that. D:

My starter was always overleveled, while the rest of my Pokemon were seriously underleveled.

So I used Gym Battles to level them up. (Having a ton of Revives helped my cause, too.)

Just out of interest, does anyone use the "X 'insert stat'" items?

Actually' date=' yes I do. My Feraligatr is bulky enough to take hits (unlike your Fire-type loser), so I can use an X Attack or X Special to OHKO things I couldn't have previously.

Totodile is still my favorite. Just not my starter this time.

So settle down. D<

And I thought I was the only one that used them.

They helped me out so much against the Dragonair Pair. ^^

@DM: Lemonade is a bargain. Too bad I was too lazy to buy a reasonable supply. D:

Ice' date=' you remember that Super Samsh Bros. RP? Well Shradow cancelled it due to that Pichu person. He said he may remake it though. I love your Number 5 VGM.

I just now remembered, i had an rp... Yeah i got lazy, i'll prolly try and bump it back later if anyones interested >.>

And @Dark: I would play with that build, but honestly i dont even remember my team, tossed the game under my bed, after like the 4th badge. >.>

And if you use Legendaries or Event Pokemon (Red gyrados), in my opinion your nub. And Since my opinion is so important it triumphs over all.

Event Pokemon are still okay, since they are just normal Pokemon with enhanced movesets. Red Gyarados is also okay, since you can level up a Gyarados to around 30 by the time you get to Lake of Rage. But legends just make the game too easy. Unless you are using Regigigas. <_<

Night Walker, I am shocked that you have not made me a Darkrai signature yet. D:

I'm obviously unwanted, unloved, and worthless. /emo

If Regigigas had Skill Swap... that would be awesome.

Go, Garchomp!

Regigigas, use Skill Swap!

Garchomp user: The fuck? What does that do?

Regigigas user: Cuts your Attack and Speed in half for five turns.

Garchomp: ...damn.

AND ME AND NIGHT WALKER ARE BEST BUDDIES, TOO. <3

That's a very interesting statement, Night Walker.

Too bad I don't care. ^_^ Not meant to be mean, but I like finding legendaries.

@Dark: I love finding Legendaries. It gives me a little thrill, and it's fun to try and catch them. It's just fun for me. The only time Legendaries actually made the game easy was with Blue. In which case, it would have either been easy or frustratingly impossible. I'm too underleveled, and I need the back up. Besides, it didn't make the battle that easy.

They sure as hell didn't make the Red battle easy. They made it feasable.

I lol'd.

In that sense, Slaking should learn Skill Swap, too.

Slaking without Skill Swap would be the equivilance of giving Wobbufett Recover. <_<

Not at all. I'm walking into Red's battle 25 levels underleveled, and I can assure you I will beat him within five tries.

Well, I'm not as good as you, Dark.

For me, I would have to do some serious level grinding to get to about, say, 70. Most of my Pokemon are 47 and 48. Somehow, my starter and my Amphy always got good game time in battles, and even after Blue (which they both participated in that battle.) They were still around that level.

It isn't a sense of how good you are. <_<

You can abuse items. Red has, what, three Full Restores? FOR HIS ENTIRE TEAM.

Bring 40 Revives and 40 Max Potions and 40 Full Heals. You'll win with a team of level 60's if you really wanted to.
