Yang Xiao-Long
Made a new Synchro card. Lore:1 LIGHT Tuner + 1 or more LIGHT Fairy-Type non-Tuner monstersThis card is also treated as a Warrior-Type monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster effects that specifically target LIGHT monsters on your field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all other monsters on your field cannot declare an attack. This card cannot be destroyed by battle, and you take no Battle Damage in battles involving this card. If this face-up Attack Position monster battles an opponent's DARK monster, inflict damage equal to its ATK to your opponent and destroy that monster at the end of the Damage Step. Editted Level from 12 to 10 stars. ragnarok1945
nice burn effect against DARKs, very useful since those decks are so abundant personally though, I don't feel it's OPed enough. It this was a lower leveled synchro, it'd be fine. But you have it at lv12 8.4/
Yang Xiao-Long
Editted to Level 10, hopefully it's better this time.
Tronta
good card. good idea.2 questions:1) why is it a warrior. what's with this recent fad of making cards be treated as another type pointlessly?2) whats the significance of the level? did you have a tuner in mind? Yang Xiao-Long
1. I make them because I can, and so that they can benefit from other cards' effects if need be. Besides, the pic (to me) looks a bit warrior-ish. 2.Ragnarok told me it was a bit UP'ed as a Level 12, so I lowered the level so that it would match the OPedness that Synchro naturally possesses (hopefully I did the corrections right). Tronta
1. that's a stupid reason. doing meaningless things like that would lead to players finding exploits. off the top of my head i can think of using 'warrior returning' to bounce it to the extra deck, but i'm sure theres a more powerful exploit. benefiting from other cards' effects is only a valid argument if you have other cards in mind. clauses like this are usually more relevant in sets. for example, in the worm archetype are all reptiles for a reason. this way they can use effects that specify a "worm" reptile-type monster, in order to avoid players abusing the ambiguous wording of "worm monster" to use cards like warm worm or needle worm in conjunction with "worm" archetype effects. furthermore, a card looking like a warrior being justification for a type recast is stupid as sheet. by that logic all gladiator beasts should be warrior type, and thus searchable by rota, and theres another exploit. 2. it would be up'd at 12, however trying to make it OP is poor cardsmanship (word inventing is fun). a great many synchros, in fact the vast majority are mediocre at best. honestly i think it might be fine as a level 8. but level isnt just a measure of power. when konami makes levels for synchros, they decide based on what they intend to synchro. for example, revived king ha des is level 6. this is because plaguespreader is level 2, and most common zombies are level 4. if you look at other archetype/type based synchros you will notice a similar trend. for generic synchros, they usually still have some ideas in mind. for this card, you might want think of a lightsworn deck, as that would be the main benefactor. potential other decks include a fairy control deck and a batteryman deck. so what levels do you think are acceptable? what tuners can you expect a player to use? etc.
jayjack
good card. good idea.2 questions:1) why is it a warrior. what's with this recent fad of making cards be treated as another type pointlessly? I agree with this jar^ There's no point in making it warrior just because of the image. It's a stupid reasonIf it has no effect that supports warriors or anything that relates to warrior-type monsters (Equip/etc.) it's completely pointless. Anyway, the effect itself isn't bad, though lvl10 seems WAY too high for this non-OP effect (With specific summoning conditions). 8/
