"Cool. An Emploeon. Go Swampert! Use Surf!", Emily yelled. A huge wave erupted in the center of the arena with Swampert on top of it heading for Empoleon. Good, now let's see what you've got., Emily thought and watched.

Starter Pokemon: Luxray

Current roster: Luxray,combusken,pikachu, and scizor.

appearance: A boy with the height of 5'11, has a blue cap with a poke-ball on it,wears black shirt with blue flames, and he has spiky hair.

Bio: First he was a boy who was very untalented in battling with pokemon, but one day he beat a very popular battler in his city. Now he heard of the island challenge. Packing his things and stepping out to the unknown, he has a dying wish to succeed.

"Niege, your battling someone already?" Jake asked.

[LightShock]

"...Huh?...are they heading for Seascape? They're definately moving in that direction...Titanium, let's go!" MArk shouted, throwing a Pokeball, and sending out his Skarmory. He then Jumped onto the Pokemon and flew after the Soldier's, Swooping low to catch up with them.

"You lot can forget about it! I'm not letting you anywhere near my Island!" Mark shouted angrilly, while his Skarmory also Chirped angrilly.

[Time Psyduck]

An hour later, Valentine, in a fresh tux, was walking slowly up to the gym. So I did go in the end. I guess I can't even take a holiday without a battle. He rapped smartly on the door with his right hand, still holding the rose, and pushed it open with the back of his hand. "Hello, anyone there?" he called. "Ah," he added, looking in, "it seems the gym leader is already in a battle. And both her and the challenger are such beautiful young ladies as well. Whichever one of you is the leader," he added, calling over to the battling trainers, "do you mind if I wait in here?"

Waterboy999, you really need to improve your posting. You need four full lines, and you need to give some sort of description rather than just you're character's speech. Your current formatting and posts break to site's RP rules, and by extension those of this RP.

Leonard heard the sound of a Skarmory in the distance, but bothered no to look to see what it was. He thought that maybe the Gym Leader wasn't here. "Well, there's nothing I can really do about it. Might as well use this Rare Candy that trainer gave me." He sent out his 3 Pokemon, Mudkip, Scyther, and Zorua. He put out the Rare Candy for any of them to take. Scyther placed it on Mudkip's side. Mudkip nosed it to Zorua, then Zorua passed it back to Scyther. They just couldn't agree. Leonard got an idea. He was going to pretend to take the Candy, like when Typhlosion wouldn't eat back in Johto. He picked up the Rare candy and pretended to eat it. It worked. Mudkip and Zorua came and Tackled Leonard for it, but Zorua got to it first.

 

Leonard then went to the nearest town's Pokemon Center. He phoned Professor Elm. "Professor Elm, can you send over Typhlosion?" "Why sure!" At that moment, a Poke-ball appeared at the Trading Center. Leonard picked it up to make sure. It was his Typhlosion. It hugged Leonard when it saw him. "Well, old buddy..." Leonard said. "It's time we, as the Champions of Johto, show these Islands whose the master. And with that, Leonard stayed the night at the Pokemon center.

Mark then Blasted toward's his gym. He saw a Trainer and his pokemon leaving the place. He mentally slapped himself as He Landed by his gym.

"Dammit...In all the commotion with that accursed Team Tempest I've neglected to look after the Gym...Well, I'll have to keep an eye on Team Tempest, but for now I'd better stick with the gym, In case anymore challenger's came here..." HE said, calling Titanium back to it's pokeball for now, and relaxing against the wall of the gym for now.

"is Emily not even going to attack" David said in silence as he was waiting for Emily's next turn, and even empoleon was looking a little a little tired "Empoleon come back" David yelled as a beam of light shot Empoleon. "Go Faraligatr!"

IC: Kris sighed. Where was the seascape gym leader. He looked to see the boy from earlier, whom he'd given a rare candy to, giving it to his pokemon. Krzis sighed, and since the gym leader was away walked off. He ended up bumping into an angry trainer that kept cursing about losig to a b*stard Gym leader. "Hey, if you lost it's no big deal." Kris tried to tell the trainer, but the trainer pulled out a pokeball. "Well aren't you an arseh*le. Make him shut up Flareon." And he threw a Pokeball into the air and out popped a Flareon. "You dont know who I am do you?" Kris asked, as a Zoruark jumped in front of him.

The next day, Leonard got out of the Pokemon Center and went to the Seascape Island Gym. He opened the doors, which creaked a little as they were shoved. He checked his watch. "Noon. Perfect." he muttered to himself. He let out a "Hello?!?" in the gym, attempting to call to the Gym Leader. Nobody answered. He tried again. "HELLO?!?" Then he stood still a little, awaiting a response. He sat down quietly,the sent out his Pokemon and gave them each a Sitrus Berry to hold. Then, he put them back in their Poke-balls.

Suddenly, the door to the seascape Gym opened. Mark walked out of the door to see the guy he had seen leaving Earlier.

"Welcome to the Seascape Gym. I'm Mark, the Gym Leader here...I apologise for not being here yesterday. I had a few 'Issues' with Team Tempest to deal with...But you may battle with me today If you wish..." HE said calmly to Leonard.

Leonard looked at Mark in an intimidating way. "How many Pokemon each?" he asked curiously. He reached for a Poke-Ball to use, then wondered if Mark might have a Pokemon waiting to counter. He reached solemnly for another one, and put the Ball he grabbed earlier back. He then stared at the Poke-ball for a moment, wondering if he should use his best Pokemon so quickly. He placed the Poke-Ball back onto his belt, then looked at Mark again. "Shall we start?"

"Hmm...that's the thing about this Gym. I change the amount of pokemon to battle with each time, depending on how i'm feeling...so...how does 3-v-3 sound?" MArk asked, grabbing one of his own pokeballs. He wasn't even slightly intimidated by the look Leonard was given to him.

"Just to warn you...even though I disagree, some people have dubbed me the most powerful of the 5 Gym leader's on these Islands...I think it might only be due to the fact that I'm the only one that doesnt use Water or Ice-types...but still, If that's the reputation i've built, I'll do my best to keep it...now come, this way..." HE beckoned Leonard to follow him into the Gym, where the arena was.

"Nice..." Leonard said to Mark. He had a look of amazement. The place was neat and tidy. "If only he knew who I am..." Leonard thought to himself. "...Then..." he paused again, then thought about the Pokemon Mark would use. Possibly a Fire-Type? Then he had Mudkip. A Grass Type? Then he had Scyther. A Steel Type? Then he had Typhlosion. A Psychic Type? Then Zorua would help. There were so many possibilities. "Shall we start?" asked Leonard.

Mark headed to his side of the arena, and turned around.

"Let's...hope your ready for this! Go Dracoblaze!" MArk shouted, throwing his pokeball, and after the flash Subsided, The Challenger would see a Ferocious-looking Salamence staring at him, before Roaring Loudly.

"well, here's my first pokemon. How about yours?" He asked calmly. HE wondered how Leonard would react to his choice of pokemon? A Gym leader's job was to examine their Challenger's abilities to see if they are deemed worthy of a Badge. Sure, they also had to Win, But Mark felt that there should be more to battling than winning.

"Hmm... Salamence are usually slow, so Go! Scyther!" He threw a Poke-Ball to the Ground. It bounced up and released a Scyther. The Scyther kicked the Poke-Ball back to Leonard's hand. "Scyther! Agility!" The Scyther began spinning in circles around the Salamence, attempting to make it dizzy. The Scyther was trained for this, as a form of strategy to beat Morty, a Gym Leader in Johto and his Gengar, and therefore did not get dizzy doing this.

Salamence however was used to this, as was MArk. He had faced this strategy several times before. Whenever he used his Salamence, most Trainer's tried to outwit it with Speed...which was what the attack he was about to use was for.

"Clever tactic. Many trainer's before you have used it...unfortuneately, this Attack isn't going to miss no matter how Fast you are! Dracoblaze, Aerial Ace!" Mark shouted, and the Salamence launched forward with Suprising Speed, it's Claw raised, and Glowing in an Aerial Ace Attack.

"Scyther, use Aerial Ace as well, charge at Salamence." As the two Pokemon were about to collide forces, Leonard yelled out, "Now Scyther, Steel Wing!" As Scyther's wing became metallic, it stopped and slashed Salamence across it's wide face. "Nice try, but...I couldn't have become Champion of Johto, without having to use Scyther to counter a super-effective move..." Leonard said, again solemnly. He grinned a bit, then watched to see what happened next.

Mark however didnt think that Leonard would've left his Scyther open like that, and grinned. As The Steel wing attack was pronounced, MArk had declared an Attack of his own.

"Quick Dracoblaze, Flamethrower!" Mark shouted, and the Salamence Released a JEt of Flame from his Mouth, right before getting The Steel wing's crashed onto his head, but hopefully the Flamethrower would do far worse than the Steel wing Did.

"Johto Champion huh? not bad, not bad at all mate..." HE said, smirking.

Leonard clapped. "Impressive. You have quite a good strategy." Leonard said, as the Scyther was knocked into the wall behind him. "Scyther, can you keep it going?" "Scy...Scy...Scyther!" The Scyther stood up tall. "Scyther, use Fly!" The Scyther flew high into the air, where it would take a while for an attack to reach. Scyther then dove down as fast as a falcon diving for it's prey of fish. It landed quite a hit on Salamence's side. "Now, Aerial Ace!" Leonard cried. At blazing spee, the Scyther landed another, softer blow and salamence.

OoC: I SWEAR Scyther cannot learn Fly, but oh well. XD

 

IC: The Fly had caught the Unaware Salamence off guard, and it roared in pain as it struck. However, I trecovered quickly.

"Quick Dracoblaze, use Dragon Claw and overpower the Scyther!" Mark shouted, as the Salamence's Glowing Claw crashed onto Scyther's Scyther, trying to overpower his Attack.

OoC: in HG/SS it can, thats my PKMN that knows Fly in SS.

 

BiC: "Fly away fast, before it can overpower you, Scyther!" cried Leonard. The Dragon Claw slammed into the ground, paralyzing Salamence's hand. "Now Scyther, use Aerial Ace on the side of Salamence where it cannot defend itself! "Scyther missed the blow. Instead, it hit Salamence's immobilized hand face-first dealing damage more to itself than to Salmence. The Scyther had fainted.

 

"Return, Scyther. You did as much as I needed you to do, but the rest can handle it from here." He put Scyther's Poke-Ball onto his belt, then pulled another one. "Go, Mudkip!" Leonard cried, throwing a Pokeball at the floor again. Out popped a cute Pokemon, a Mudkip.

[Auralady]

Emily grinned,"Swampert." Swampert jumped off the wave as the Hydro Cannon hit,"Now!" Swampert shot two wWater Pulses right after eachother and froze them with a Ice Beam. Feraligator managed to doge the first one but the second one cought him. Swampert landed back infront of Emily who was grinning.

Max is acepted.
