The snover loomed over it again and got in close then shot out a ice blue beam up close straight at the tiny grass pokemon. "at this close you wont be able to dodge and it will do tons of damage, how do you like them apples?" Jake said camly and cooly

"Double-edge, quickly," Valentine called, and instantly Bellossom accelerated into the Snover's legs. Valentine knew there was no way out, nor would Bellossom take such a hit at that range, so she may as well do as much damage as possible before the Ice Beam struck her. Besides, she'd done what he needed her to do - if he'd expected the Snover to be as quick on the recovery as it was, he'd never have sent Bellossom in there at all. He'd have to make it up to her later. Now all he could do was see how she was after the attacks resolved themselves. Still, every blow would make it easier for what he would follow up with to finish the job.

"Huh?...It's saying Rollout, but I dont see it anywhere...Unless..." Mark gasped as He realised what the Typhlosion must be doing.

"Quick, Lightshock! Jump and fire the Hyper Beam STRAIGHT DOWN! It's Underneath you!" Mark shouted to his Pokemon, who blinked, and, still holding onto it's Energy, Jumped into the Air, before Firing the Hyper Beam straight down.

"Belllossom span into Snover's leg, bounced off, was struck hard on one side by the icy attack, and span to a stop closer to where Valentine stood. Somehow, incredibly, she was able to stagger upright, although she looked as if a splash would take her out. Even Valentine didn't understand how she'd survived, until he saw the ice, which had formed on her right hand side, was dripping. "No way," he said blankly. Somehow, without being told to, she'd used Synthesis at exactly the same time she's crashed into Snover, giving her just enough heath to stand up to the ice beam.

Still, she was half frozen and was wouldn't stand up to so much as a breeze, so he quickly recalled her. "I think I'm going to say she's out," Valentine explained, "even if I did need her, I wouldn't let her go in this state. So you've got me down to one Pokémon. You've got talent and skills, and I reckon you could go far. But you're out of luck, at least for now. Meet my third pokemon, Ludicolo!" he called, throwing another luxury ball. Out came what amounted to a piñata with a sombrero, which took seemed to be rather happy, until it took one look at the weather and one look at it's opponent, and began to mime cracking it's knuckles. "It seems this one already knows my plan, so go get it, Ludicolo." The pokémon rushed forwards, preparing it's fist to strike.

"good choice, resist my fire and ice attacks. but too bad its not enough. Ive been saving this move because its know to miss...alot" Jake explained "but i have to try it. THE ONE HIT K.O MOVE! SHEER COLD!!!" Jake shouted. A giant cold front moved in on ludicolo if it hit it would automaticly Knock him out with the freezing power.

"Ludicolo, watch it," Valentine called, but he didn't seem overly worried. The cold wave swept straight over the incoming pokémon, and Valentine took a small but sharp breath, but then it burst straight through, apparently unharmed. "I thought as much," he said as he relaxed his breath. "You told me it was your newest pokémon, didn't you. Well I've had Ludicolo for quite a long time now, and as I suspected, she's at too high of a level for your move to have any effect at all, even if it were to hit. Well then, no we've got that out of the way, let's heat things up a bit, shall we?" he continued in a rather cheery tone, which then vanished again almost instantly. "Fire Punch," he declared, although Ludicolo, who had now reached the Snover, already had a fist surrounded by flames as it swung it into the small tree-like pokemon's chest.

"OH NO NOT A FIRE MOVE!!!" Jake screeched in almost horror. The snover barely held on. "Ok do as much damage as possible, first switch out." He called back woody and sent out vulps "GO VULPS, USE WILL-O-WISP, then hide from any attack" Jake called. The fox pokemon shot out blue flames then started darting behind rocks, dodging what might come next

Unfortunately for the Vulpix, what came next was the rocks. Rising from the ground once again, they slammed into the already worn-out fire type. "I wonder," Valentine muttered, "was that luck, or can he see what I'll do? Then again, with that much damage there's no way he could get that Snover back out without stealth rock finishing it off, so he's down to the Vulpix anyway."

Ludicolo meanwhile had done a backflip to avoid the blue flames. "We shouldn't need any more flames, so dance, Ludicolo." Ludicolo proceeded to preform a short but rather impressive dance, as the weather changed once more. The air became thick and humid, as well as being rather darker than before, and it almost seemed to be raining. "Get ready to fire water pulses as soon as the Vulpix breaks cover," Valentine added his pokémon's dance came to an end.

"If woody can survive just one more stealth rock....I hope so" He called back vulps and sent out woody. Woody just barley held on after the rocks cut into him "now the snow warning" as if on cue snow whipped up and flew out the rain causing hail. "NOW THAT HAILS HERE DO AS MUCH AS YOU CAN WITH AN UNMISSING BLIZARD!" blizzard in hail will never miss so it automaticly hit ludicolo "I just hope it freezes" Jake said as he looked on "please please please please pleeeeeease!!" jake pleaded

"Now Vaporeon! Use Water Pulse to propell yourself upward and use Iron Tail!", yelled Emily. Vaporeon jumped up into the air with the help of a powerfull Water Pulse. She turned around in the air and her tail began to glow. When she came down, instead of hitting Swampert she hit the frozen ground near him blasting it apart. Shards of ice and rubble and smoke flew over the arena. Emily Smiled,"Your pokemon are strong and well trained David and I would expect no less from a Gym Leader but.....its going to take a lot more effort to beat the Champion of the Sea."

OOC:I know it was kind of obvious. But hey.

OoC: Auralady, can I add more pokemon to my roster, I only put up one.

Brandon didn'y get a response from the blank Gym leader so he left the building. He went back to the motel and decided to call Proffeser Birch to see if he could send some of his other pokemon to this region. He was waiting for the answer patiently, silently. Shiftry waited as well.

OoC: Would like a challenger please.......

Prof. Birch answered and agreed to send more pokemon over. Brandon went to the pokemon center and recieved his Milotic, Gengar, Glalie, Sceptile, and Sandslash. "Alright! Now I can seriously do some damage. Time to go find a gym!", Brandon said, smiling. He ran out of the building, jumping up and down. He called out all of his pokemon and had them travel along behind him.

When the dust cleared Vaporeon struggle to get up but ended up fainting,"Vaporoen come back and rest. You deserve it." The Vaporeon retreated to the pokeball and Emily laughed,"Thats one strong Swampert. But not your best right?" Emily looked at Ninetales who looked back up at her and rested her head on her front paws again, a clear sign she did not feel like battling yet. "Ok then. Time to come out again Swampert!" Emily yelled as swampert reappered looking fully rested.

"Typhlosion, jump off the wall!" The Typhlosion was rolling for it's life. One tick of the Hyper Beam and typhlosion would be down. It rapidly spun out of the hole, and bounced off the wall. The Hyper Beam missed! "Now, don't forget, Mark. Hyper Beam has a drawback, your Pokemon won't be able to move, so, it won't be able to dodge a Blast Burn!" Typhlosion jumped from the ground into the air. It rubbed fur together in areas to create massive fire in it's mouth. The Typhlosion's Blast Burn was heading straight for the immobolized Manectric, and at Lightning Speed. "Also, because of Typhlosion's Ability Blaze, it's HP is low, so you know what that means. It's Blast Burn does double damage!" The Blast Burn was homing in on the helpless Manectric. Leobard knew that Manectric couldn't dodge. This might be the end of it. But, he then remembered the drawback of his own move, Blast Burn. Leonard has made another stupid mistake. Starraptor would be able to finish Typhlosion if it didn't recover of the immobilization of his Blast Burn. He knew this was the end.

These things are good. He may not have had it long but not many Snover would be able to take a fire attack and then a stealth rock and still be standing, but I reckon just about anything would take it out now, and frankly he just can't keep switching for mush longer.

As the Blizzard passed, an block of ice seemed to have formed around Ludicolo, trapping it in place, however a moment later the black shattered in a shower of water, and Ludicolo stood there, with his hand surrounded in flame and liquid water floating in the air behind him. "Ludicolo, Ice Beam," Valentine called, and the water-grass type responded by firing a cold blue beam straight at the Snover.

"Woody, USE BLIZZARD" Jake screamed right before the ice beam just skimmed snover. Snover was barley standing up, but still stood strong and used one final blizzard before being called back. "He's down...GO VULPS, ARRIVE IN THE AIR AND COME DOWN WITH A FLAME THROWER TO AVOID THE STONES!" Jake screamed as he threw his pokeball into the air. The vulpix arived in the air then flew down in a close range flamethrower while avoiding the stones.

"Release the storm, Ludicolo. Rain Dance," Valentine called. Ludicolo went back into it's strange dance, using the movement to avoid the worst of Snover's parting shot, and the hailstorm melted into rain as the Vulpix released a bust of fire from it's mouth. "Counter it with water pulse," the trainer added, and the pokémon launched a blast of water into the oncoming flames. The attacks collided, the water move winning out, but the flamethrower was enough to deflect it harmlessly around the Vulpix to obliterate the pursuing stealth rocks.

"That's convenient," Valentine commented, "anyway, Leech Seed." Ludicolo spat a small green seed from it's mouth. Having aimed high, the seed fell in towards it's target from above.

Brandon then went to Glacier Island. (By however means lol) When he arrived, he went straight for the gym. "Hello?", he called out. "Is anyone here? I've come to challenge this gym! If you are the leader, I suggest you come out! I'm kinda cold so I could use a good, warming battle", Brandon said, shivering. He heard nothing. He walked around the front of the gym -inside- and just paced, waiting.

It hit hard, sending vulpix down "God dangit. REST" Jake screamed, as it fell asleep it started to glow and it recharged its health. "Then use sleep talk to send out an attack" Jake told the sleeping fox. It shot out fire blast at its opponent. "Come on, faint, faint, faint..." Jake pleaded

"Head down," Valentine called, and just as the flames were about to strike the part-grass pokémon, Ludicolo tipped the top of it's head into the face of the attack. With a hiss the strike stopped dead, as the flames died away. "Rain dish," he explained. "Normally it recharges Ludicolo's heath, but the water building up also makes an excellent flame shield. Ludicolo, whilst it's asleep launch a water pulse." Ludicolo spat another rain enhanced blast of water towards the fox pokémon.
