Luna Lovegoods Card

Wings of Life

111474.jpg

[spoiler=Effect]

When this card is destroyed, you can place it in your Spell and Trap card zone and treat it as a Continuous Spell Card with the following effect: "Whenever a monster is added from your deck to your hand by the effect of a card with 'Blackwing' in it's name, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon that monster. If a monster is Special Summoned this way, you must pay 1500 Life Points to search your deck and add 2 cards with the same name to your hand. If you do this, the Special Summoned monster gains 300 ATK. If there is only one card in your Deck with the same name, you must flip a coin. If the result is heads, Special Summon one monster with 'Blackwing' in its name from your hand. If the results is tails, your opponent can Special Summon one monster from their Hand, Deck , Removed From Play, or Graveyard.

Max Darkness Card

Mythical Beast Darkfeather

21c8azc.jpg

[spoiler=Effect]

This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. This card is also treated as a Winged Beast-Type monster. If you control 3 or more "Blackwing" monsters, you can Normal Summon or Set this card without Tributing. Once per turn, you can Tribute this face-up card to make the Battle Damage taken by face-up "Blackwing" monsters you control 0. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, you can Special Summon it during your End Phase by discarding 1 Level 4 or lower "Blackwing" monster from your hand. The discarded monster cannot be Summoned during your next turn. When you Synchro Summon a "Blackwing" Synchro Monster, you can remove from play this card from your Graveyard as 1 of the monsters required for the Synchro Summon, except if this card was sent to the Graveyard by its own effect.

My vote goes to Max Darkness.

First, Luna's pic I have seen twice already. It also can't be summoned easily, which automatically requires a Giant Rat or two in your deck, which ruins the thing. Its effect isn't much use either, most of the time you can simply normal summon it. Only 1 or 2 Blackwing monsters in your deck are LV 5 or more, right?

Max's has a never-seen-before pic, and its easy summoning restrictions balance out its stats. I also like how it blocks damage when your opponent gets out that occasional annoying ace. Its ability to freely Synchro also gives Blackwings a new move.
