Dude, sign up for PR, go to the Resources section. :/ Just downloaded over 400 MB worth of PSDs, Renders, Stocks, Tuts, ETC.

 

Btw, I demand to know I'm in Revolution Juniors. :{ (Yes, I am going to jabroni about this. :P)

I like the background effect, kinda like the effect in my sig.

 

Yeah the sig looks good with the effect though i dont like how it goes over the focal, if it were me, i would only put it over the BG.

Bad. You're missing all basics. :/ Background is horrifying and bland, the colors aren't nice at all, and the text and border ruin it even more. Just look at some more nice tuts. :P

yeah not so good, the render seems ... bad, a little bad scaled. The ice? thing behind Toshiro is really ruining it....the bg is good, the text is okay...the border seems nice

I wouldn't CnC at your level unless you know what you're talking about. No offense. :P

 

[spoiler=Basics]

Depth - Depth perception is basically how much you can make your tag/LP look like it has far and near elements. How far away you have your focal compared to a blurred object in front of it, or having something behind the focal that is slightly blurred and smaller relative to size. Basically, it's all about focus.

 

Flow - How easy it is for your eyes to go to the focal. Easy to understand. :P

 

Focal - The main point of your tag, the object you want people to notice the most. Abstract tags(or most of them) do not have a focal, really. Multiple focals normally never work.

 

Concept - You gotta have a concept beforehand or else your tag will probably look like sheet. Just have an image in your head beforehand and try your best to create that image.

 

Composition - How well your tag is brought together, how well everything works and fits relative to each element.

 

Blending - Your focal has orange lighting and your background is a blue ice wasteland. Shitty blending. Try as hard as you can to make sure your focal belongs in it's surroundings.

 

Wow Factor - Something that will make viewers think that was unexpected or make them wonder how they did that. Just be creative.

its not that bad, its a nice one. I don't like the yellow spots around him that part of the bg is darker. You could use some bg darker that the gun's fire colour, i think ;) overall a good one

The render doesnt really blend with the tag. Lighting isnt there. Flow and depth is barely there. Though not horrible.

 

I need a good render or stock to start a tag.. I'm too lazy to look... pl0x?

Yeah but too be honest I really didnt Think this club would so many members. Especially not anyone who can properly CnC -__- But now I think It would be smarter to wait a week, and then decide.
