Limited Edition KING
Hello everyone I was thinking about Rituals lately and they can only be Summoned by a Ritual Spell right? Well I was thinking of a way to make a Ritual Monster be Ritual Summoned without the need of a Ritual Spell Card. And I am well aware of Advanced Ritual Art so don't bother pointing that card out what I planned to make was a monster who doesn't need a Spell Card to be Ritual Summoned I mean back in the old days people didn't use Spells in rituals they just Tributed animals and thus this monster was created. Old Effect This card cannot be Ritual Summoned except by Tributing monsters you control whose total Levels equal 8 or more. When this card is Ritual Summoned select 1 monster your opponent controls. This card gains ATK equal to the selected monsters ATK until the End Phase. New Effect This card cannot be Ritual Summoned except by Tributing or discarding from your hand monsters whose total Levels equals 8 or more. Once per turn, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls. This card gains ATK equal to the selected monsters ATK. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn you activated this effect. It's named Battle Soldier because I plan on making a new set of monsters called "Battle Soldier" so yeah this is basically gonna be a trump card in the series. You know what to do comment/rate/fix/etc.
RAEGING D0GKING
Thats not how rituals work.Look at a real ritual.Seems ok.Not that useful maybe if you equip it to Mage Power or whatever. But it becomes 0 at the end of the turn. And your opponent could have Magic Cylinder/Waboky face down.8/
Limited Edition KING
Okay I know its not how Rituals work but I'm trying to make them different like some of the Elemental Hero Fusions. Like it has the requirements on it so you can summon it its just a new way on summoning it that is the purpose of this card you know what I mean? Otherwise I would have made a Ritual Spell Card for it. I might give it an ATK boost to 1000 that could make it stand more of a chance but it makes it slightly overpowered I think having 0 as its base ATK makes it balanced. -Griffin
You're giving up 8 levels to tie with a monster in ATK? If it had 100 base ATK, and the ATK gain was permanent, maybe, but otherwise the Archtype support had better be good =/
Limited Edition KING
I could still make a few changes to the card I'm just seeing how the idea of a Ritual Contact concept will work and how people like/dislike about the idea.
ragnarok1945
boring for having the atk boost for only 1 turn I'd change it more to the atk gain is a permanent one. However, you cannot select a monster with more than 1000 atk, and the ritual's max atk can only reach 3000 7/
Limited Edition KING
Hmm Ragnoraks banned again what are the odds? I'll probably end up making cards in the archtype support this card seems funner to me.
Monkey
Underpowered Rituals can be Ritual Summoned using monsters from the field OR the hand. Your card requires that the monsters be on the field. Along with that, the monster you are probably going to select won't have that high of an attack. You need at least 3 monsters on the field to get this card out with it's ATK

-Griffin
"You cannot Summon during the turn you activated this effect."Translated to practical speech:"You'd better have protection or this thing's going to get run over. Also, you'll start losing field presence at a good rate to keep this out and gaining ATK while you still take 2 turns just to tie with something in ATK." Could have been 'runnable' up to that clause. Wuu.
inb4LourDeathisanoob. It's underpowered since it only has 0 ATK. If the effect is gonna stay the same, you'd better decrease its Level, or simply add in a few attack points to be used effectively.
-Griffin
Since it can be Summoned just by dumping a level 8, I suppose it works now, although it is still annoyingly slow, and would have to be protected to be any use. Note though, I'm rating this as a single, if the support for it is notable, what I'm saying right now might be invalid.
Jazin Kay
It would be funny to somehow summon Relinquished this way.
