DL
Memories Aren’t Left behind When you die,People remember you.But do they remember the you they knewOr the you that actually existed?Do they remember you for what they saw?Or remember you for what you experienced? When you dieA part of you dies with youNo one will truly know about youAs much as you,Because no one was there to seeThe life you lived. They only saw the life you wanted them to seeNow your life is goneAnd no one knows who you really wereThe memory you left behindIs nothing but what you showed peopleWhen you dieYou are the only one who knew you. There you have it. Any feedback?
Negimalevolent
I don't think there's enough rhyme... but that's just beLeast said, and don't take this the wrong way, but I didn't think it was that good (Partly because of the lack of rhyme) However, on the plus side, the poetry I write seems worse than this and I always get top marks for it, I'm no expert, but, it probably is actualy very good ^_^
DL
Didn't you know, a lot of good poems don't rhyme. In fact, I think most poems that DO are kinda... meh. I prefer the ones that don't rhyme, AKA< free-verse poems.
Negimalevolent
I guess you maybe right... I suppose it's because all the poems we study at school seem to rhyme.... Perhaps my opinion is because I'm under the influence of the school curiculum....
DL
Could be, most poems I read in school rhyme. But that's not to say all poems that have rhyme are bad, and all that don't are good.
