Congratulations, you have no clue on what you're talking about.

Failure, I do know what I'm talking about.

You compare the death of a human to the death of a bug. The problem here is that you assume we all care about everything equally. Losing one million dollars cannot be equated to losing a penny. Death may be all around, and so is loss in general, but that by no means says we cannot be moved to a larger degree by losses that we feel closer to. Cynics like to attack that fact that we are sadder over the death of a famous icon than the deaths of thousands in *insert some sort of genocide here*. But you don't know those people, they never affected you, and you will never get to know them.
