Yu-Gi-Oh! G4 Special: The Xero Reverse

This is based on my character in Yu-Gi-Oh! G4, Xero Skyblade.

 

[spoiler=Chapter 1: A Goodbye! A New Life Begins!]

 

"When I was 2 I was abondoned. Abondoned by parents that didn't want me. That's why I was sent here, to the Neo Domino City Orphanage."

The boy opened his eyes. He had dreamt the same day he had dreamt for the past week, ever since those people visited. Those two, who said they were his new parents. The boy had dreamt about his parents. His REAL parents. Even though he didn't know how what they looked like he somehow could see them in his dreams. He got himself out of his bed and looked around the room while stretching.

"Traitors..." He quietly said to himself, thinking about his parents. He then thought about the nice people he had met a week ago and smiled.

His eyes was turned towards the digital clock showing the time 09:13 AM.

"Breakfast is in seventeen minutes." The boy picked up the white t-shirt with a big, red X on the front. He then pulled it on and then equipped hismelf with his jeans while looking into the mirror. What he saw in the mirror was a boy wearing a white t-shirt with the red X printed on the chest and a pair of jeans. The boy had spiky, grey hair with red strokes, and his eyes was bright blue. He stroke his hair back with his hand but the hair instantely regained it's former hairstyle after that he removed the hand. He smiled.

"No matter what I do my hair stays the same." He said, watching his mirrored self.

 

He grabbed his deck of Duel Monsters cards and went downsatirs to the dining hall. It was big with a big table in the middle of the hall. Around the table was ten chairs, seven of which was occupied.

"Take a seat, Xero." A woman's voice said, and the boy turned around. In the door opening leading to the small kitchen was a woman who looked to be around 30 holding a plate with pancakes. She had long, black hair and kind, yellow eyes. She was very beautiful and smiled.

"Yes, ma'am Lyra!" Xero said, smiled and placed himself next to a boy with short, brown hair. The boy looked up at him and then looked down.

"You're so lucky, Xero." The brown-haired boy said and looked down.

"What do you mean?" Xero asked and looked at the boy. The boy looked at him.

"You're getting new parents, I'm still stuck here untill someone wants me... Which will probably be never..." The boy looked down again and a tear fell from his eye.

"Chris!" Lyra had placed herself on the opposite side of Xero and the brown-haired boy. "Don't talk like that! Of course someone will be willing to treat you like a son! Not that I don't already do that..."

"Sorry, Lyra." Chris said and then looked at the plate of pancakes that she had placed on the middle of the table. "Are we allowed to eat now, Lyra?"

"Let's wait for little Kuroda first." Lyra said and looked towards the stairs. Suddenly they heard a 'ba-dosh' and quickly afterwards another coming from the stairs. The sound kept coming from the stairs until a boy with marine-blue, ruffy hair appeared falling down the stairs. The boy was still wearing his green pajamas. The boy was now lying on the floor, but quickly sat up and looked at his crowd.

"Am I late fo bleakfast?" The boy asked and then stood up. He walked to the table and took the chair next to Xero.

"Kuroda, it's breakfast!" Lyra said and smiled at the little boy.

"Bllllleakfast?" Kuroda tried but then realized he couldn't get an R put of his mouth, so he instead directly looked to the pancakes. "I want pancakes!"

 

Half an hour later, the kids was having fun in the room called The Playroom. This is where all the toys of the orphanage was located. It was a small room with two windows, a C-shaped couch with a table placed in the middle of the couch. There was also a bookshelf full of toys, aswell as toys spread all over the floor. The youngest of teh kids was playing on the floor, while Xero, Chris and a girl was sitting on the couch, Xero and Chris in the middle of a duel with the girl watching.

"I summon Elemental Hero Avian!" Xero said and placed the card on the table. "It will attack your face-down monster!"

"My face-down monster is Dandylion!" Chris flipped his face-down card face-up and revealed the Dandylion card. "Your Avian destroys it, but it let's me Special Summon two Fluff Tokens!" Chris placed the Dandylion card in his graveyard, while placing two Fluff Token cards on his field in Defense Position.

Xero looked at his hand, he then pulled three of the cards out of it and placed them face-down on his field.

"I set three cards face-down and then I'll let you do your turn!" Xero smiled while he looked at the face-down cards.

Hah! I have the perfect defense! Trap Hole when he summons a monster, Mirror Force if he attacks and Magic Jammer in case he tries to get rid of my other Trap cards!

"My turn! Draw!" Chris drew a card and then removed his Fluff Tokens from the playing field. "I tribute both my tokens to Summon Gandora the Dragon of Destruction!"

"Damn! You beat me again!" Xero said. He looked a bit sad, but he was smiling.

"That makes it a total of 68 wins for me and 2 wins for you!" Chris said and smiled while picking up his cards.

"Yeah, I really do suck." Xero had a half-happy smile on his face.

"Xero! Your new parents are here in an hour! You better get ready!" Lyra's voice was heard from the kitchen.

 

Xero walked downstairs. He was carrying a bag, containing his clothes and belongings. He was now wearing an unbuttoned black jacket over the other clothings. When he arrived downstairs he saw a man and a woman, looking to be in their late 20s. The man had short, black hair and green eyes while the woman had long, brown hair and blue eyes.

"Hello there, Xero!" The man said and held his hands out, asking for a hug. "I'm Frank Skyblade, your new father!"

"Dad?" Xero said and dropped a the bag. He had never been able to call someone that. "So, my name is Xero Skyblade from now on?"

"Yes, dear." The woman said and also held her hands out for a hug. "My name is Susan Skyblade."

"Mom!" Xero smiled and tears created by happiness was dripping from his eyes. He walked up to them and all three of them hugged eachother.

"Mr and Mrs Skyblade, could you walk out so that Xero can say goodbye to his friends here at the orphanage?" Lyra said and smiled at the Skyblades.

"Oh, of course!" Frank said and stood up. "I will throw your luggage into the car! Come help me, Susan!" Frank smiled, grabbed Xero's bag and walked outside.

"Look you can carry it with one hand, why do I have to help?" Susan said and giggled while she followed her husband outside.

"Just help me, woman!" The kids and Lyra heard Frank's voice from outside and laughed.

Lyra then turned to Xero and smiled.

"Say goodbye to all your friends then. Hopefully you will meet them again..." She said.

Xero turned to the other kids and smiled, tears still rolling down his cheek.

"Goodbye, everyone!" He said and held his arms out. "I will miss you all!"

The other kids was quiet for a moment, then the silence was broken by Chris.

"Xero! I want you to take this!" He walked up to Xero and handed him a card. "It's called Forced Execution. I would have used it in my own deck, but I think you deserves it!"

Xero looked at the card and then laid his hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Thank you Chris! I will use it wisely, just like you would have done!" He said, and smiled.

"Xelo!" One of the smaller kids walked out of the crowd. It was Kuroda. "This is a cad fom me!" Kuroda was holding a card, and was giving it to Xero.

"What's this?" Chris grabbed the card and looked at it. "Spell Switch! Kuroda, where did you get this!?"

"I found it while playing outside!" Kuroda said and his smile shone.

"Well, it's a very powerful card." Chris said and looked at Kuroda, while still holding the card.

"That's why Xelo should have it! Kuroda laughed. "Xelo is a poweful duelist!"

Xero smiled, and then hugged Kuroda.

"Thank you, bud!" He was still smiling. "I will use these cards as often as I can, and I will do it to win!"

Then Xero turned around and started walking towards the door.

"Wait, Xero!" It was Lyra. "I think I deserve a thank you!" She was smiling.

Xero hugged her, hard and thankfully.

"Thank you..." He whispered.

 

"So, Xero!" Frank said, drivng the car over the Daedalus Bridge. "Me, Susan and now you lives in the Tops area of the main city. It's more luxury then in the Satellite parts."

"I think you will feel like home there, since it is your new home!" Susan giggled from the front seat.

Xero was looking outside the window. The ocean was reaching towards the horizon under them, and the sun was on the center of the sky.

"We have already prepared your roo... What's up with that car?" Susan asked.

"Looks like the driver lost control of it!" Frank yelled.

Then he quickly turned the steering wheel, and then it all went dark for Xero.

Spell Switch

Quick-Play Spell Card

Activate only if you control a face-up Continuous Spell Card. Give control of that card to your opponent. Then, look at your opponent's hand. Add 1 Spell Card from your opponents hand to your hand.

Hmm, you decided to base a fanfic off a rp? Ok, it works. I like all the personality in the duel; Its more than "I summon Blah blah blah then set a card face down your turn", which I like. Its also quite interesting. I like.

Thanks. If I complete this I will probably make a Fan Fic adaption of the RP too, with the same plot but with slightly different characters (with at least Xero and Kuroda appearing in it)

 

To note is also that Lyra is mentioned in one of my RP posts already. I'm just that cool :3
