All the Aztecs are laughing there asses off in the afterlife because they probably ran out of room on the big ass stone they put the calendar on. I was thinking along the lines of this, but more like the Aztecs just getting lazy and decided that they weren't going to live this far into the future anyway and just quit working on it.
