(UN)Official Pain Discussion Thread...

Twin Seed

Recommended Posts

This thread is specifically designed so that you can get with people who have problems similar to you and so that we (YCM) can help each other...

NO FLAMING - This will be reported on sight, understand? If you're flaming and are serious, whether your post is spam or not, it will be reported.

NO SPAMMING - Not necessarily as heavy as the flaming rule, but also very important for many reasons (these are just a few):

a) This will get locked (or your posts will be deleted by request...) and that would be a terribly bad thing for the people being helped.

b) It wastes peoples' time.

c) It's against the rules in the first place.

Mods:

I know that you think this will be a bad idea, but give it a few days, please. If you see any spam or flame posts before they're caught by others, please take necessary actions.

And yes, this is considered spam if I don't post a problem of my own:

I'm kind of nervous about an upcoming surgery, and I need some tips on how to help myself calm down...

I know you probably don't want to hear this' date=' but chances are, you don't "need" surgery, the doctors are just saying that to take your moneyz.

Well not if it's about getting my boobs bigger but if it's painfully obvious that you need a transplant or whatever of something to save your life/health, then I'll voluntarily stick my money out.

I'd say don't think too much about the surgery itself, you're not going to see or feel anything when it happens. Think about what will be better AFTER the surgery. And the probabilities of what can go wrong, even if something doesn't go exactly right it can't totally mess up your life...I hope. Maybe you can have the surgery again, a friend I know had 5 surgeries because of her back until it was really right.

And my problem:
