Deustodo
That is the why the effect "This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster" and "The Attribute of this card is also treated as LIGHT". There would be no need for making Double types, in the type space, I mean.
Nexev
Well they did it will Piercing. They will come eventually. Konami would rather save the card space.
Deustodo
Probably, they dared to create the Accel Synchro Monsters... anyway, what do you think about the Custom Sub-Types that add new things like higher Levels, ATK and DEF limits, things like that?
Nexev
I am not particularly sure that they make sense. After all, a ATK over 9999 is over excessive.Plus a god card is level ten, a level 13 would be something that supposedly topped that. Seems completely unnecessary, but who knows, one day they might be used, after all Summoned Skull used to be one of the best cards.
DL
Yes, and Dark Magician was legendary... People must constantly seek new cards to stay in the competition... Also, Creator has a point. Inventor was probably the best type ever created, and Alchemist, thought of by Kailyn, was never put to practice.

It'd be a new mechanic featured in a specific kind of card. Accel Synchro's are just Synchro's that require another Synchro. Hardly a new type. Enrise
I'll admit, Fake-Type are somethings that I usually don't want to see, mainly cause of the reason that there is no entire thought based around it, because from what I saw from 'noob' Fake Types, they are based on a picture than an effect. But however, I'll respect that Fake-Types can be made, and such. I just wish to see more thought put into the Fake-Types that they create. But I'll go ahead and join. Name: EnriseCard maker or Debater: I can take the job of Card Maker, up to both. But because of what I said above, I don't really know about that. Why you decided to join: Well, I think I said that in the above. Honestly, I said most of my app before the app itself. Whether this means I'm accepted or not completely is up to you.

Guest JoshIcy
Kay... So umm... The reason I haven't built a Guide on it yet, is because I believe that a good new Type (not so much Fake) has to have at least 30 Monsters, 20 Spells, and about 15 traps. Rounding out in 65 cards just to get it off the ground. A function with them is not mandatory nor is balance, because well... Type's just don't do that. Single cards do. For mechanics, it's usually Subtype. For consistency, Archetype. But even then that isn't compulsory. The point IS dedication. So umm... Yeah pick that up where you feel necessary. Nexev
I agree, but all types need to share some cosmetic simillarities with one another, so they look like a type and not a bunch of random monsters. You can tell many card's type from a glance that should also work for fake types too.
Guest JoshIcy
Depends on how much it covers don't it?
Nexev
Yeah I guess. Still, thier needs to be something that can be seen to show why the type is what it is and not a different one. Otherwise you get Truesdale. FAIRY KING Truesdale. THE PLANT. >.> That still bugs me.
Guest JoshIcy
-Fairy King Truesdale.Such things as Wood Fairies.Often such fairies are one with nature. As a result they also are part nature themselves.Fairy King Truesdale is a Wood Fay. Nexev
I understand wood fairies. I understand a fairy helping plants, espically since he's based on Oberan. But he's FAIRY KING and still not a fairy. Why Konami? Why was having a fairy support plants, so much more unlikely then the fairies ruler not actually being a fairy but a tree. Nexev
IT would be nearly impossible to pull of. I suggest making them an archetype with a support that lets the summon become easier. It would be allot easier with negative levels too. Though why anyone would go to so much trouble to summon a level one is beyond me.

Summoned. This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. When this card is Summoned, destroy all non-Warrior-Type monsters on the field. Beast-Type monsters cannot be Summoned. When this card destroy a monster by battle, increase your Life Points by 500. This card cannot attack your opponent directly.[/align] See? Level 18 and not impossible to summon. Even a Level 1 H.S. is possible to Summon.
Nexev
It actually seems like it should be a lower level. Considering the power a twelve has. But meh, maybe the level is crucial to how well you HS summon.
Deustodo
Well, if you consider that most of the 12 Level monsters are Fusion Monsters, with the exception of 2, H.S. are easier to Summon. But I gave you just a weak example.
