When this card is Summoned, you can send 1 DIVINE monster or 1 Zombie-Type monster from either your Deck or your hand, to the Graveyard. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, when a DIVINE monster attacks, you must discard 1 card from your hand. If you do not, then that monster will be destroyed after the Battle Phase. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can send 1 DIVINE monster from your hand or Deck to Special Summon this card.

This monster is also treated as a WATER monster. If you control another face-up DIVINE monster, you can Summon this card without a Tribute. Decrease the ATK of all monsters on your opponents field by 100 for each DIVINE monster on your field. Once per turn, select a monster your opponent controls. The selected monster cannot attack during your opponent's next Battle Phase.

Divintiy Soldier is an odd one.

And I mean that the effect is confusing...

 

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select 1 non-DIVINE monster in your Deck and send it to the Graveyard. That monsters effects on the field are negated until your 2nd Standby Phase.

 

So, the monster is on the field, while it's in the Graveyard?

Yeah, I wasn't thinking of the rest of the set when I made him. He's Plaguespreader Zombie support, in short.

 

It's in the Graveyard, unless it's pulled out. If it is, it's effects are negated on the field.

When Icy was mod, we did this, nothing bad happened.

And Divines are technically Realistic now. Obelisk says so =O *Gets shanked*

But really. It's because people who don't do Divines right usually it ends up becoming like this.

That's what this was made for. Or one of the reasons.
