My newest card

After many months I have decided to come back to YCM, and I fear I have gotten rough around the edges with my OCG and I would like to know what you guys think.

[spoiler=Dinah - Coordinator Angel]38Super.jpg

EFFECT: As long as this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot Tribute monsters except for a Tribute Summon. As long as this monster remains face-up on the field, the controller of this card selects the targets of their opponent's attacks. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. (Damage calculation is applied normally.)

"As long as this monster remains face-up on the field, the controller of this card selects the targets of their opponent's attacks."

Grammatically speaking, I'm pretty certain that "targets" should be "target" because of the plural usage of "attacks".

In terms of balance, I think this effect is a bit overpowered for a realistic card, despite your monster's low Level and stats. I don't believe there is a single legal card that grants an infinitely lasting effect to redirect opponent's attacks (and for good reason). When you combine this effect with Dinah's "get out of jail free" effect ("Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed."), it further emphasizes the vast advantage it grants the user.

Perhaps it could be balanced by limiting it to redirecting 1 or 2 of an opponent's attacks.

The other effects Dinah has are reasonable though. :)

Tiny OCG corrections & suggestions:

- "face up" should be "face-up"

- "unless" (pretty sure) should be "except" in this case

- "As long as" can be shortened with "While" (fairly sure that is how it is worded on actual cards now)

My Honest & Fair Rating: Blast! 8/10

There are other cards that allow u to redirect the attacks for eg: Patricitan of darkness

Whoops, my mistake. I haven't played the actual TCG in forever and didn't know. The effect was worded as though you could redirect attacks to anywhere, including your opponent's monsters. However, I just finished reading the ruling about Patrician of Darkness' effect and that is not the case.

I still think the effect is a bit imbalanced, especially combined with Dinah's 3rd effect (of being able to withstand an attack). Of course, with all the countering measures these days, I'm sure this could also be just as easily negated or turned against the controller.

I'm surprised Patrician of Darkness isn't even limited at all, considering YGO's love for banning cards with little to no drawbacks (but that's a conversation for another day & time).

In any case, my rating will not change. Dinah is a powerful card to say the least.

This, however, makes me question the mentality the YGO "judges" use in determining what to and what not to limit and ban.

Neither this nor Patricitan of Darkness is at all limit-worthy. They generate no advantage and have no extremely powerful effects. Redirecting attacks is nice, but it isn't going to change the game enough to ban.

The card itself is pretty nice. Reasonable Stall and usable to get fodder for synchro/tributes on the first turn and works with Fairy's battle-immune cards.
