Latest Update:

22/04/2010 - 'Arcane Legion - Disembark' became 'Arcane Legion - Disaster'.

22/04/2010 - 19:22 - 'Arcane Legion - Disaster's effect was erased, and was given a new effect to match a Godly Trump Card Status. ;D

23/04/2010 - Arcane Depression - Quick-Play Spell Card added.

Here, I am presenting my very latest set, which I am going to use a cheap tutorial to 'fool' my mates into thinking this set is real. ;D

These cards literally DEMAND the power for Meta!

They need to be Meta...

And I wish my laptop had a bigger screen so I could have YVD, but, ah well.
The 'Arcane Legion' cards mainly focus on clogging themselves in the opponents Graveyard when going - then getting swarmed with great support to them.

They are a series of DARK monsters who all have less than 1800 ATK, but their effects back it up big time.

They go on a range of Types - from Fairy to Fiend, containing:

Spellcaster

Fairy

Fiend

Insect

Sea-Serpent

But you will see that in a bit.

Now, the explanation of the 'Arcane' Type.

With the 'Arcane' Type, you can use THIS method of Tribute Summoning:

If the Tributed monster is Level 2 or lower, you must Tribute 1 monster.

If the Tributed monster is Level 3 or lower, you must Tribute 1 monster.

If the Tributed monster is higher than Level 3, you must Tribute 2 monsters.

Also - for Synchro Summoning - if I get round to making those - you use THIS method of Synchroing.

1 non-Tuner monster+ 1 non-Tuner monster.

When using that, the Arcane monsters must have less than 3 Levels, otherwise you have to involve a Tuner.

Advanced, isn't it?

And confusing.

erg2ux.png

Lore:

Once in the duel, you may select 1 card in your opponents Graveyard and remove it from play. If the selected monster was a "Arcane Legion" monster, you may send 1 from your hand to your opponents Graveyard. This card gains the selected monsters effect.
213n5ox.png

Lore:

You can Special Summon this card from your hand if you control another "Arcane Legion" monster. Once per turn, by discarding 1 card in your hand, you may add 1 DARK monster with 1500 or less ATK to your hand. During the turn you use this effect, you cannot attack.
orsbc7.png

Lore:

Once per turn, you can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to your opponent's Graveyard to draw 1 card. When you use this effect, you can discard 2 cards from your hand to add 1 "Arcane Legion" monster from your Deck to your hand. When this card declares an attack, shuffle all cards in your hand into your Deck, and draw cards equal to the ones you returned.
jpdi6x.png

Lore:

Once per turn you may tribute 1 monster on your side of the field to select 1 "Arcane Legion" monster in your Deck and send it to your opponents Graveyard. This card gains the sent monsters ATK until the End Phase. When this card is destroyed, it is sent to your opponents Graveyard.
4q66hf.png

Lore:

If this card is sent to your opponents Graveyard by a card effect, (excluding its own) it is Special Summoned to your side of the field. Once per turn you may remove from play all cards in your opponents Graveyard. All "Arcane Legion" monsters gain 200 ATK for each "Arcane Legion" monster that is removed from play. If you use this cards effect, is is sent to your opponents Graveyard during the End Phase. Whilst this card is in your opponents Graveyard, all removed from play "Arcane Legion" monsters are returned to your opponents Graveyard.
EN006 - Arcane Legion - Disaster ~Trump Card~]

2w7iiqb.jpg

Apologies if during the update it became LQ, I will try to fix it as soon as I regain access to Tinypic. ;D

Lore:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You may Special Summon this card from your hand when there are 4 or more "Arcane Legion" monsters in your opponents Graveyard. When this card is Summoned, you may remove all "Arcane Legion" monsters in your opponents Graveyard from play. This card gains 800 ATK for each. Once per turn, if the effect of an "Arcane Legion" monster activates, you may destroy all cards on your side of the field to Special Summon as many of your opponents removed from play "Arcane Legion" monsters to your side of the field as possible. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. As long as this card is in your Graveyard, you take 1000 Life Point damage during each of your End Phases.

fjqdk6.png

Lore:

Only activate when an "Arcane Legion" monster you control is destroyed. Select 1 monster in your Deck with less ATK than the destroyed monster and Special Summon it to your side of the field. As long as that monster is face-up on the field, you take 500 Life Point damage during each of your Standby Phases.
qs83mv.png

Lore:

Destroy all monsters you control. For each "Arcane Legion" monster sent to the Graveyard by this effect, you may Special Summon 1 monster in your Deck with equal or less ATK than the destroyed monster(s). When this cards effect resolves, you may select 2 "Arcane Legion" monsters in your opponents Graveyard and return them to your Deck. All "Arcane Legion" monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each monster involved with this cards effect.
I just said. There are none at the moment.

They come later. ^.^

Well, I hope you enjoy my greatest set, but before I forget, (Ugh, rhymes.)

Arcane Legion- Disembark won't see much play if at all. And the only reason I even see it as a Boss Monster (which I'm damn sure it is), is that it looks like one and the tributes. It's effect is so convoluted, that it'll likely remain as a 0/0 unless it has it's own dedicated deck. But that's not what you were going for right? If so eeeeh... Still a terribly mishmashed effect that Im surprised you got anywhere with.

Arcane Legion- Hopeful Bode, it took 3 cards to show us how the first card works. Haha, I guess that's forgivable since you probably had the idea down pretty well. The problem is that your Opponent is down 2, for you to gain 1. It's a pretty easy +1, and nice draw power. But that alone is crazy splashable in DD and FTK decks that need monsters (thinking Exodia Frogs here). Im curious at the number of problems it may cause outside of it's own deck. But as it stands, kudos and a VERY nice card.

Arcane Legion- Shame is something like a Big Burn with legs. Necroface, DD Burn and that love the card. Definitely something to see a card that can work outside it's intended deck here, especially so well. But it kinda kills the need for Macros and Fissure, in favor for a better version of them with legs and I don't like that (lol... I <3 S/T cards).

Very nice cards, and as I always say... I'd love to see more S/T that support these cards as a whole. Lets see how dynamic you get with the idea.

First I will have to say that I like your new name, it's way better then the 1 before,

Interesting effects, OCG looks fine (must say I wasn't looking for any errors).

I like the names and they fit their pics.

1 comment on Disembark: Becouse it's ATK is undetermened it technecly doesn't have any attack at all (And don't mean 0). It does recieve a ATK boost, but it's indetermened so it's ATK and DEF sould be 0 and not ?.

A 8.8/10, it needs way more support to make this work.

Yes, I know it needs more support, it's a work in progress. ^^

Thanks on the comment about their names, it took a long time to find the right ones, I first came up with "Slatos", but it sounded like a Rock Archetype.

I have just given "Disembark" a whole new effect, and it now makes the set a whole lot more Meta-Worthy. Literally.

But I can't post it until I get the Laptop back, I've been typing this on the Wii.

About ~Oleon~.

I know, I had pestered the Supers for months now until good ol' Roxas changed it for me.

New update arrived - I had a look at the overall set and saw that there wasn't enough to send the cards to the opponents Graveyard - so more proper support will be on it's way very, very soon.

Bump - again.

If anyone can provide a REALLY good image that will go with this set, don't hesitate to say, at the moment I REALLY need them, because nobody is updating their Archives at the moment, and, I tell you, I do NOT trust DeviantArt, Google, the rest.

So, if you can help then it's +3 for youuu~

Actually, so far none of them need Tributes.

Disaster can't be Normal Summoned, it's like a JD but with your opponent's Grave.

With Shame you can have a two card combo - Fear sends Shame to the Grave, and it Special Summons it to your side of the field, whereas Fear gains its effect and can swarm more monsters AGAIN.

What these cards lack is this:

1. Destruction

2. Domination - as in ATK power.

Every good Meta Deck needs this:

Destruction

Domination

Swarming

The LolPowerAbuse that makes it lulzy.

A Trap Card is on its way, it's on my LT but at the moment too lazy to upload it.

It actually works really well - but I need to improve on some of the card's OCG - I need to make it:

"If this card is sent to the Graveyard, it is sent to your opponents Graveyard instead."

And I need to add more to them saying the above on really, every card.

Some cards that would work well with this Deck would be Mystic Tomato, Sangan and Foolish Burial.

Of course. ^^

Oleon always lies.

I see you're in Realistic now.

Hell yeah' date=' JG taking over YCM FTW!

[/quote']

Of course. It's for your own good.

As always. ;D

But I'd like you to delete that neg. >.>

It clearly wasn't needed.

Anyways, you said they were good. ^^

*face lightens up*

I know, I already have plans for the proper support, and possibly further monsters to the Archetype to come, but on all means it needs to be developed before it can go through a stage of awesomesaucemeta.

Firstly, it's not Fake Type. >.>

If you read the explanation instead of just looking at it like a noob you'd understand. *facepalm*

Secondly, once again, if you read the thread, you'd understand that I am going to make these 'real' and 'fool' my friends with them.

So please, shutup and look for once.
