Synchros is new so I was going to make a fusion, so here it is:

1 Beast-Type monster + 1 Spellcaster-Type monster

This card cannot be Summoned except by Fusion Summon. When this card is Summoned, increase your Life Points by 1000. If this card battles a monster with higher ATK, increase this cards ATK by 1000, until the End Phase. You can Tribute 1 monster you control to increase your Life Points by 1000 or increase this card ATK by 1000, until the End Phase.

This card would be less OP'd if the DEF (and maybe the ATK) was a little lower. Any 2 beast and Spellcaster monsters? That's a little easy to make happen. Also, it gains 1000 ATK every time it battles a monster with higher ATK? Even though it's just til the End Phase, there's plenty of room for abuse. Aside from the crad being blatantly OP'd, I like the general idea of it. OCG could be a bit refined.

The DEF does make it oped but who runs a beast/spellcaster deck?

 

yea in that case then its not a very useful card if no one would use it unless maybe it had some support for it

I didn't know YGO distinguished cards by the region or hemisphere they came from. I guess if a Japanese card was included in the Fusion Material list' date=' it would be balanced.

 

Just kidding, I know [b']TERMAS84[/b] actually meant to say "specific" not "pacific". :P

 

 

Jokes aside, I have to agree with the previous replies about this card being unbalanced. Though, not necessarily because it doesn't have a specific Fusion Material monster. In that regard, if you asked me, given this card's Level and ATK/DEF, I would say it's because there aren't enough Fusion Material material monsters on the list.

 

"If this card battles a monster with higher ATK, increase this cards ATK by 1000, until the End Phase."

- This effect is OP when you consider how high your monster's ATK already is and the fact that it activates when it battles a monster with higher ATK. With an effect like this, its ATK may as well be 3800 by default.

bottom line: the effect isn't needed for a monster with 2800 ATK (at least not a 1000 ATK increase).

 

The second effect isn't too bad since it has a cost that needs to be paid, it gives you a choice, and it only lasts until the End Phase.

 

Technical aspects aside, the image is perfect for this card. No blurs and completely befitting.

The 1000 ATK boost is not to OPed if you lower this cards ATK... and the DEF is maybe too much... but that is the only thing that is OPed about this card and thanks for the comment and the low rate...

True' date=' the 1000 ATK boost [i']would be[/i] not that OP if this card's ATK was lower, but it isn't.

 

Now that you mention it, perhaps you could make the effect activate when your opponent lowers the card's ATK during the Battle Phase. Pretty much a counter to a counter.

 

The rating is honest and it's not that low. Would you prefer me lie and give you a perfect score? >_>;
