This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand or Deck by Tributing 1 face-up Dinosaur-Type monster equipped with "Metalmorph". If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, destroy the monster immediately without flipping it face-up or applying damage calculation.

 

I added in Metalmorph to make it harder to summon, which I think is a big enough drawback. Not too much of an original effect. It's basically Sasuke Samurai with higher ATK and works against any Defense Position monsters instead of face-down ones.

I'm no OCG expert, but I think when the Tribute is specified like that, it is a Special Summon, and the wording would be something like "This card cannot be Normal Summoned. This card cannot be Special Summoned or Set except by..." But I could be wrong.

 

I agree with you that it pushes Op'd-ness. Maybe drop the ATK to 2400-ish, considering the double-damage effect. Then again, maybe the Dinosaur requirement is enough to compensate (I'm not really sure).

i think there are some cards though that say u can only normal summon this card by tributing 1 blah blah blah, nice card pretty basic but most basic cards are good. mnicely balanced since u pointed out the batle damage only doubled in battle with a monster. 8.8/10=)

I changed the effect. It should now be more balanced. Better than the regular metalmorph monsters. You'd need a Dinosaur and Metalmorph to summon it, giving you a stronger sasuke samurai. Remember that metalmorph is a trap card, so it is slow.

Okay now it's better.But like you said your self not a very original effect.Just a big Sasuke Samurai as you said.But it does deserve a 7/10.
