Exploring Beyond the Reaches - Field Spell Card by Mia

Recommended Posts

So, I haven't made a single card for YGO in like a year almost, so I decided I'd make something.

I just quickly made a template and did a few minor adjustments, and that's pretty much it.

This time, I did a Deep Sea Blue Theme. Yeah.

So look at it, give it five stars, and enjoy.

Be sure to check out Miku & Rin in my Shoppe, and Alluria in my siggy.

That was essentially the whole point.

Allowing one to activate as many Field Spell Cards as they wish.

And if you think about it, not many good Field Spells are in YGO anyway, so it isn't overpowered at all. Simply compliments it and makes it a slight advantage for one.

You must also take in several other different factors, such as the lack of Spell & Trap Card Zones for yourself, and the fact that this card is unprotected against any other Spell or Trap Card effect.

As well, it's just a plain Field Spell Card. It can easily have its activation negated.

I'm trying to think where this could ever be used. Off the top of my head, only Spellcasters could really justify 2 Fields, Endymion and Village, possibly multiple Endymions. Still, I'd probably avoid it even there since it screams dead draws.

Nice card to have in the game, but I don't think it would ever be used with the current card pool

Well yes there aren't many good Field Spell Cards in the Game but there Can be a lot of combos with it.For an example Summon Spellcaster-type monster, activate this Card, activate Valley of the Spellcasters, then activate Future Visions and Set Royal Decree. If your Spellcaster Monster has big Defense Points or big Attack Points then imagine the Lockdown you will do to your opponent.

You do know, even if you set Royal Decree, you cannot activate it during that same turn, so your opponent can still necessarily prevent you from using this card in the first place.

I highly doubt you would get those cards all in your very first hand, and even if you did, that's a terrible hand to start off with.

This card surely does help bring back dead Field Spell Cards that are completely useless and weak.

After closely examining my Field Spell Card over again, I have found one potential flaw in it. I'll leave it to the experts to try their hand at figuring it out. It's not too hard to notice.

What? No.

I mean as in it could be potentially locked in place, having its effect work forever unless there is a card that can negate Spell Card effects or return it to the player's hand, for example.

That should be the biggest hint.

With that being said, I shall semi-limit this even before it's counted.

I find this to be an excellent lesson for newbies to figure out flaws within a card's dynamics.

The Deep Sea Blue background is appropriate considering how awesome this is with A Legendary Ocean. Daedalus? Yeah' date=' he's a 3-star now.

Oh yes, how could I forget. Levia Dragon Daedulus. You can reduce its Level to 4 and simply Summon it. Run Umi at 9. Teehee. It is also useful in lotsa Occasions. I may use this with Earthbounds unless your opponent enjoys nuking.
