A bit OP'ed perhaps, a 2000/2000 Level 4? change it to 2000/0.

Yeah, it is overpowered in its current state. I mean bio-engineered werewolf (or whatever its name was) is the strongest level 4 normal monster with 2000 ATK. Needs to be nerfed.

As you mentioned yourself, the Japanese is a little weird. I cannot correct it properly as I am not good at Japanese official card grammer, but;

 

Dragon-type =　ドラゴン族

(you forgot) Effect = 効果 (I think :3)

ATK = 攻撃力

DEF =　守備力

Field = フィールド

 

"自分フィールド上に「Ｋａｎｉｎｅ」カードが存在する限り、このカードは攻撃力・守備力５００アップする。「Ｋａｎｉｎｅ」カードが破壊されるとき、このカードを代わりに破壊することができる。このカードが相手に直接攻撃を成功したら、自分に同じダメージを受ける。"

I think this is better, but it is wrong. Last sentence is definitely wrong.

 

Furthermore, the name. 電光, looking at the kanji I would guess it means "lightning" as in the "lightning of a room" in order words the light that a light bulb emits. Lightning as a natural phenomenon is written 雷, and together it becomes 雷球 (raikyuu) which I think a random ninja in Naruto used as a name for one of his attacks, so go with that. ; D
