[align=center]The first of three Priestess of Creation monsters. Each one of them responsible for an element of creation. Also, the three elements of the human being: Mind (Knowledge), Body (Form), and Soul (Heart). Katachi is the agent of form and Earth; Her specialty is Effect monsters. [spoiler=LORE]During your opponent's turn, you can discard this card from your hand to negate the Special Summoning of an opponent's monster and remove it from play. If you do this, during your next Standby Phase, Special Summon this card to the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, both player's must Tribute 1 monster they control to activate the effect(s) of an Effect Monster (except "Priestess Of Creation- Katachi") . If they cannot, the monster is destroyed.

[spoiler=LORE]During your opponent's turn, you can discard this card from your hand to negate the effect of a Trap Card and remove it from play. If you do this, during your next Standby Phase, Special Summon this card to the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, both players must pay 1000 Life Point to activate the effect(s) of a Trap Card. If they cannot, the effect is negated and the Trap Card is removed from play.

Both are overpowered.

 

You do not necessarily ever need to activate the effects of a monster or Trap Card for their second effects, and thus, you can simply use them for their first effects that negate Special Summoning and Trap activation.

 

If they were both Limited, then fine, but if you're allowed to have three of each in your Deck, then it is definitely overpowered.
