archfling
Well, I've thought about this one for a while. There are a bunch of cards I have come across that have good effects but are limited due to them having to be destroyed by battle. This limits their playability, and are thus sometimes ignored. Now, I know this card is specific, and could be a horrible dead draw, but I think it could help the playability of some of these cards. Moja, for example, would not have its summon possibly wasted, or one of the Battle Searches could be used instantly to get the necessary card out right away. So here it goes. NeXodus
Ummm... Well this would be a good card if the cards effect it destroyed was a effect that was triggered when it is destroyed but other than that this card is useless and very bland. The pic is very bland too. 4/

The pic is very bland too. 4/10 I disagree 100% This card would be extremely useful. Though, I can see it running into a lot of the problems that Peten the Dark Clown has (As far as missing the timing goes) Unless this card was the last link in the chain (Or the card destroyed by your card didn't have a non-compulsory effect) then you'd miss the timing, and your destroyed card wouldn't be able to activate its effect. For example: Your opponent activates Smashing Ground while you control Giant Rat and Gigantes, You chain Archsword to destroy your Giant Rat The chain resolves in reverse, so FIRST: your Giant Rat is destroyed "by battle" LAST: Your Gigantes is destroyed by Smashing Ground But because your Giant Rat was destroyed in the middle of a chain, and you would normally choose whether or not to activates its effect, the effect is void. On the other hand, if you destroy a card that MUST activate its effect when it's destroyed by battle, then its effect will activate when the chain has resolved. ... I can't think of an example, at the moment, but it would be any card that doesn't have "you can" before the effect Won't work: When "A" happens YOU CAN make "B" happenWill work: When "A" happens, "B" then happens. LourDeath
Well' date=' I've thought about this one for a while. Moja, for example, would not have its summon possibly wasted, or one of the Battle Searches could be used instantly to get the necessary card out right away. So here it goes. Very Simple: well it could be used if there are "supporting cards" that "inflict damage when a monster of yours is destroyed by battle" (which i'm still thinking if there is) any ways there's a better way to say that. A. Destroy 1 monster on your side of the field. The card destroyed by this effect is considered as "destroyed as a result of battle". monster is only capitalized in "Monster Cards" i don't know about the quotation marks ("") B. Destroy 1 monster you control. The card destroyed by this effect is considered as "destroyed as a result of battle". also sir... if there is a "Giant Rat" don't forget the "Pyramid Turtle" which calls off a powerful monster "Ryu Kokki" ^.^
