Dissociative identity disorder

A.K.A. split personality disorder, its when you have a double life. You can have one while having a alter ego, but it you never heard of it and you think its kinda cool, its not. If you guys ever played the Megaman StarForce/Star Force series, there's a guy named Pat/Patrick Sprigs that had a bad past (Thrown by parents onto a junkyard) in the plot of his character in the game. It made him very sad and that caused him to have what I mentioned Split personality disorder or dissociative identity disorder. He then has a brother called Rey Sprigs in the game. And its like...can affect you very much and your other "twin" life can cause very much trouble.

 

 

Lol. What the main plot of this thread is, does anybody have this diagnosis? I don't, I was just curious if anybody had this diagnosis. (Dissociative identity disorder just has another name, duh, you can probably guess already, split personality disorder.)

I knew a guy in high school with it. He was an okay guy when he was calm. Unfortunately, even a slight amount of stress brought out his other persona - which was extremely cold and cruel. NOBODY wanted to be around him when that happened. Poor guy... :(

I don't suffer this, but I do have something close. I don't know quite how to describe it, but most of the time I live "out of body." Meaning my mind and body are constantly on autodrive.
