The shaking woke Kaij up. He looked into the horizon, and he realized how f*cked they were. He poked Marlow on the shoulder. "Get me to the chopper, I can fly. And don't ask if I can stay awake, if I have to, then goddamn am I going to." He looked around. "Where's Leo? We aren't leaving without him, that's for sure." Just then, and shell impacted the ground no more then 20 meters away. "NOW!"

'Yes sir.' Marlow picked up his radio, 'Leo where the hell are you! We are getting to a chooper make you way there! As they made their way to the chopper, Marlow chould hear somthing. 'Oh Crap, GET DOWN!' As he said this 2 enemie jets flew over thier heads. 'Run run RUN!' Shouted Marlow as he help Viper.

"I can't, idiot." But with Marlows help, he got himself into a chopper. "God, I haven't flown a Pave Low since my time with the Yakuza... There's the ignition, missiles here, steering here... I got it. Leo on yet?"

'We need to shake off those jets. There killing us.' Marlow shouted to Leo and Viper. He picked up his radio and began searching. 'Boogie Man 2 do you read..... Cobra 5 please resopond....' No answer. 'Crap, Do those missiles work after the EMP?' asked Marlow.

"Sorry for the delay, I was havin' some trouble with hostiles. Lets go." As he sais that a missile just missed the pave low, and they all got thrown backward, all flying out of the heli. "Ughh........." Leo moaned as his vision was dazed. He was being dragged into the chopper, it took off, then his world went black.

"They do, but they aren't heat-seeking anymore, so it requires deadly accuracy and predicting ability to hit anything. But hell, I'll give it a shot." He fired up the rotors, and shouted to Marlow to pull Leo on board. He didn't want to have to shoot him again. As he helicopter was around 10 meters in the air, it gave a violent jerk to the left, and it took Kaij 5 painstaking seconds to get it back up again. "Damn, this EMP has f*cked up this chopper quite so royally. We're going back to base, I don't want to have to control this any longer than nessecary."

'Scorpian this is Boogie Man 2, we are sending 2 Phantoms to your postion right now, Over' 'Hell f**king yes!' Cheered Marlow. 'Viper get us close to the ground, this is goona be some mean Sh!t coming over' Marlow hung his weapon over his sholder and saw the Jets on thier tail. 'Come on Viper we aint got all day

"No way. No way am I missing out on this one." Kaij got the chopper up to 80 meters, and let loose the 4 missiles it was carrying. After watching 3 explosions, Kaij wondered where the 4th one was. Then he heard a screaming noise coming from the missile rack on the chopper. The 4th missile was still hanging there, armed and all. "Oh..." Kaij's maniac smile faded faster than the guys seeing those missiles coming towards them. Then he resorted to horror. "Everybody BAIL OUT!" He rushed out of his seat, grabbed a parachute, and almost tackled Leo and Marlow out of the hatch. Kaij deployed his chute instantly, and after about 5 seconds, the missile exploded, taking the chopper with it. Then Kaij realized his mistake. He was using 1 parachute to have 3 full grown men. "Marlow, at about 5 meters, jump and land, I'll brace for Leo, he's uncounscious!" Kaij counted down. 20... 15... 12... 10... 7... 6... 5. "Jump!" Kaij shouted, as he prettymuch pushed him down. Even those 5 meters were enough to slow the parachute down enough to be able to land relatively safely, as Kaij's own shoulder took the force of the ground impact. "Marlow. You okay?"

Marlow got up onto his feet. 'Holy crap man I thought you said you could fly!' Malow looked in the distance as he could see the heli drop to the ground. He also saw the 2 jets intercept the hostiles in the air. 'Their abit late' Grinned Marlow. Half a mile away Marlow could see a US jeep.

'Finally!' he shouted letting off a flare.

"OH GEEZ!" Leo shouted as he woke up. "Am I in..... heaven?" Leo sked as he sat up. All he could see around him was Viper and Marlow. "Ah, so I'm not " Leo said, wondering. He looked up, looked at Marlow, and saw a flare gun. "Did I miss anything?"

Marlow helped leo to his feet. 'Well Viper Trashed our heli, we jumped out, hostiles were eliminated and we are being rescued, so you didnt miss much.' Said Marlow. He pointed up towards the sky and fired the flare. 'Man I need a coffee' Malrow moaned. As the jeep aproched he saluted.

"I didn't trash it, the missile or the launch system was defect, I couldn't have done anything about it. You just be happy that I even bothered to grab you guys." He said, tapping Marlow on the head with his gun. He turned his head towards the airport, where bombardment had ensued. "Dude, they're gonna have to rebuild this thing from the ground up. When they're done it's be like, this high." he said, holding his hand at just above knee level. He was about to say something, when a massve blast lit up the sky, even though it was midday, it made even the sun seem dark. He looked over to the source, where an ominous shape was rising above the horizon. Kaij's jaw dropped. He couldn't even say anything. He just looked at the other 2, knowing that they should get it. "They're early."

 

OoC: You don't need hints to what it was, right?

'Oh f*ck!' Marlow stared in amazement. 'I think we should go like now.' He picked up his weapon of the floor and ran over to the jeep to tell the situation. 'We need to get back to base sir' , said Marlow to Viper. 'If we dont then we will be drowned in Radiation'. Marlow got into the jeep and waited for orders.

OoC: You most certainly didn't, I see.

 

IC: "Radiation isn't that much of a problem, ground zero is too far away. I'm more worried about-" The sound of everyhting in the vicinity shutting down drowned out his sentence. "-the EMP." Kaij slammed his head onto the hood of the jeep, and watched in despair as the 2 jets veered out of control, and actually slammed into each other before, smashing into the ground. "If it wasn't because I like living, I would have said that we strap and RPG or 2 to the jeep- Hang on." Then the manical grin reappeared on his face. "Anyone here knows bomb desposal? We need to separate the grenade from the actual rocket on 2 RPG's. Anyone up for it? We can light the rockets manually when we need them."

IC: As Marlow saw the jets go up in flames, memories of his wife being mudered flashed in his mind. He got out of the jeep with a med kit and went over to Viper to fix his leg. 'And I thought this war was fu*ked up already.' Marlow began putting a bandage over Vipers leg when bits of helicopeter and tank material began to rain on them. 'Holy Crap we need to get out of here'

Ic: Red was trying to get Viper out of the debris but a big rock slammed on Viper and Viper's hand fell meaning that Viper was dead, " VIPER!" Red kneeled to the ground staring at Viper, " No, how could you screw up like this Viper dammit! Dammit dammit DAMMIT!" Red started screaming and he stopped and grabbed Viper's dogtag and started to evacuate, he communicated with the others, " Men... Viper... left me as Co-Captain... Since...sinc-...Since he has died, I will now fill in for both Viper and Blizzard, I am now your captain, Marlow I am promoting you to Co-Captain." There was a few tears in Reds eyes, Viper was more than a friend to Red he was like family through and fro. Red started to communicate with Base F.I.R.E. " Base F.I.R.E. this is Captain Red speaking, Captain Viper..... h-h-has died, I, uh, need a chopper right now!"

" Negative Captain all our choppers are refueling at the moment, uh, it will take 30 minutes just to get our chopper up and ready."

"F*CK, boys we got a problem, our evac isn't gonna come soon."

" Captain, we suggest you get to a safe zone, the safest place right now is location 25.636.093"

" Got it, boys follow me."

Marlows face dropped as Viper was dying in front of him. 'No you cant go, not now' shouted Marlow. ' I have lost too many people, dont you go aswell.' Marlow cried. He lifted his hand from his head and saw the blood. Red then came and took the tags. Marlow stood up and began a rampage with the air. 'I will get you!!' Shouted Marlow.

Leo didn't know what was happening, there was too much commotion going on. He took a first look at Viper, and saw blood. "But, what happened?" Leo asked He looked at the rock, and a tear dripped down his eye. Then another, and another, until he was sobbing. He looked up at Morlow who was also sad.

Red looked at Marlow, " Wait, help me push this rock he's not gonna die yet." Red dodged a couple of rocks and then he started pushing the rock Viper was under. They succeeded and Red checked his pulse, " He's in a coma!" Red put him on his shoulders and the team started moving, " Marlow, Leo watch my back I'm bringing him to the evac zone." Red took out a .44 Magnum and looked for any hostiles along the way, Red spotted a hostile and immediately shot at his direction

Marlow Picked up his rifle off the floor and held tight hoping viper wouldnt die. He looked in the distance and the Mushroom Cloud began to fall. Marlow was startaled by the gun shot Red shot. He turned round to see a hostile on the floor bleeding from the head. 'Wow man good shot!'

[Sorrow.]

Red nodded at Marlow, " My Great great grandfather was one of the gang members of Jesse James. His name was Regginald Ruckland just like me." Red dodged some more debris, finally they got inside the airport and they could see the main entrance, " Damn Viper you fat lard." Red saw two hostiles taking cover behind a pillar, " Wait a minute." Red placed Viper down behind some chairs. Red took out his second revolver, he pointed one at the first pillar and the other to the second pillar, finally one peeked out and Red took him out. Red grabbed Vipers Throwing Knife and threw it at the second hostile when the second hostile yelled, the second he turned the corner the second the hostile died. " Room is clear for now cmon lets go." Red bursted out of the Airport and he saw an old 1990 Camry in the parking lot, " Our way outta here."

"I call being turret man!" Leo shouted as he jumped into the back seat of the car, facing backwards. He was desperately not trying to think about Viper and if he will survive. He took out his ACR(Which he managed to fill with ammo again) and looked through his ACOG scope. He saw a car speeing toward them as fast as lightning, and as they got closer they started to open fire. "Red! Weve got company! Lets get a move on!" Shouted Leo as he returned fire.

Marlow Got into the cramy and refilled his Magazine. 'Man I havent seen one of these for years.' Cheered Marlow. He enjoyed the experiance of being back in this car but it also brought back bad memories of what happend to his old sqaud. He was thinking too hard, and was starteld by the gun fire of an ememy jeep. 'Here we go again!' Shouted Marlow as he pointed his gun at the wheels of the jeep. He fired to shots at the first jeep and it swerved and fliped but hostiles were getting out. He tried to fire at the second but his gun was jammed. 'No dammit NO!
