-Griffin
their spam tatics are effective' date=' but only if they can actually get some sort of protection bult into the swarm, or if you have a continous effect protecting them.I think the fact that some of them being thunder types also hurt their machine norm support.[/quote'] Actually, the Thunder-type ones being Thunder is a GOOD thing. This way, they don't die from Limiter Removal, they can't be hit by CFD, etc. This is fun to exploit with Radion, as even if they block my 4000 ATK Boomboxen, I still have something left. Also, barely any of the decent Machine support helps them significantly. As for the whole protection thing, I personally try to end my turns with either strong Synchros out, or with Cyber Valley being the sole monster. Otherwise, they must resort to Gadget Driver and co. Being Machine means people can use Chimeratech and System Down on you - you auto-lose if machines are in the meta and you're playing matches. If anything, it's a downside and they'd be better as all Machines.

Since Machines have those type-killers to cause auto-losses, why would it be better if Radion, Datatron, and both Magnens were all Machines? burnpsy
I ninja'd you. I figured someone would, since the post went through at 4:44. Anyways, IMO, the types are perfect on the good Morphs. The way they're set-up, more OTKs are possible than if they had any other type, and you can play around CFD and System Down more easily.

burnpsy
So is Gadget Driver actually good? That is something that merits testing. It's a -1, but it can potentially save you the game if your OTK gets stopped. I wouldn't know how to fit into into my builds to test, but it is worth testing. MrCodyPwns
@werewolfjedi: What do you do when Boarden lets them simply bypass your set-up? I never really liked this archtype' date=' i mean they have [i']an[/i] OTK, but even then, its nothing special. An best of luck on your tourny, SpinnyDoom.Fail.... burnspy, give him the list. OK Boomboxen x2 + RadionBoomboxen + Limiter Removal + Radion3x Celfon + Radion x23x Celfon + Radion + BoomboxenCelfon + Boarden + Radion + BoomboxenBoomboxen x2 + Limiter RemovalScopen + any 2 LV4 Morphs in hand or in play + Morphtronic Map + Junk Box/Boarden3x Radion Those are only the tip of the iceberg. Plus, outside of OTKs and attack locks, there: Remoten + Dupe = Gottoms + any 3 Morphtronics you want are added to your hand ok. they have more than 1 OTK. good for them, still don't like, or think their a great archtype. It's your opinion, so whatevs. The good part here is that all of these are ridiculously easy to set up.

burnpsy
do you think that machina's or batterymen can help the deck? In Morphtronic in general? A deck that can fit at least 5 of the 13 possible deck slots you can use for revival (Junk Box/Map/Repair Unit/Limit Reverse/CotH) can make good use of Fortress, but Fortress would simply be a large beater that generates negative card advantage overall (unlike other decks, Morphs cannot counterbalance the -1, but it is essentially the same as Synchro Summoning in this case, without the benefit of the vast swarm and revival options within Morphs). I don't see how Batterymen are very relevant, aside from a select few Morphs (Magnen and Radion come to mind) being Thunder.

burnpsy
Some batterymen make Machines Gain ATK... Oh. Unless they increase a significant amount more than Radion, Radion is better for being a Celfon target, an Accelerator target, a Junk Box target, etc. There simply isn't room on the field for multiple Batterymen to give similar or weaker boosts. burnpsy
If they were all Thunder? Some of the Batteryman beaters that aren't used much due to the OTK being superior may be used because if they were all Thunder, it becomes far harder to reach an OTK. In vaguely irrelevant news, I've found another OTK for Morphs, which I did on my second turn against one of my friends today: Remoten + Boomboxen + Radion + B-Con (target a monster with 1100+ ATK)
.dek
If they were all Thunder, you couldn't use your own Chimeratech..... But if they WERE, you could use lolsolidarity as a second Radion......
