Let's talk about something unfair. [Starlight Road]

Has anyone ever thought of using Starlight Road in a Destiny Board deck now that overextending being bad is a thing in the past? I can't test it since I don't have WC 2010. It's just an idea.

Scenario 1: Your opponent doesn't do anything and you can't win, because SRL occupies one s/t slot.

Scenario 2: MST for game.

id say maybe at 1 but not banned.

Plus i love it when i black rose the field, negate it with starlight road, and get a Stardust when all i had to do was synchro for a level 7. My deck runs around that strategy then activating assault mode activate.

You may not like this card and want it banned, but i hate every single blackwing card and want them banned. Im pretty sure that neither of us are getting our wish anytime soon.

I started to main 2 Dust Tornados.

See what I did there?

The biggest influence Road has had around here is that people tend to main Trunade instead of Storm.

I haven't been maining either - some generic destruction, a Starlight of my own, and MST/Dust has always worked out. Maybe that's just 'cus I run Scraps.

People that don't have Starlight Road can now bluff their overextended field just because the card exist. Would you still Heavy Storm if they did that?

The really sad part is the fact that Oppression and (possibely) Divine Warning can negate this because it can possiblely ss a monster. I'd like to see this limited since it provides the same bonuses that Heavy and other field clearers do, force people to actually use skill to win, but at 3 it can be too powerful.

Just limit it and Stardust to one. Then Starlight Road won't be able to swarm Stardusts by using multiples and whatnot, and it's still a usable staple (mostly). Limiting only Starlight means you can still get multiple Dragons on the field using it in conjunction with basic Synchro Summons. And banning isn't necessary, it just needs some control because of its Stardust effect. [spoiler=Rant Here]Besides, there are still so many single destruction cards out there that it won't always be usable. And, for me, local meta uses plenty of single destruction cards, so that shows a bit that it's not a totally broken card like you guys make it seem like. And Konami wouldn't harm the main card of Yusei by banning it, as others have said and given reasons for. So the best we have a chance of getting is my limiting suggestion, if we're lucky. Thank you for reading. (I know you didn't read it all!) 8)

Wait, I should have read the title better, we're actually talking about Starlight Raod! :P

Since the introduction of this card, I am going to start doing this in all my decks:

-1 Heavy Storm + Cold Wave/Giant Trunade/MST (depends what I feel like doing/what fits with the deck better)

-1 Lightning Vortex + Smashing Ground

-1 TT + D-Prison

-1 Mirror Force + D-Prison

I will side in those cards back if my opponent does not have Starlight Road.

Then my opponent has nothing to Starlight, except BRD of course, but I will be very careful in using him.

well yeah, I suppose. But I will be scared of Starlight all the time in every local that I go to for ages, so I am not running any Starlightable cards, except BRD, which is staple in plants, and I will only use BRD's second effect unless I am desperate to nuke.
