evilfusion
Imperial Custom only protects active continuous traps. Dark Bribe negates the activation and so Custom does not protect it. And yes, you would draw.

Parting Shot
Imperial Custom only protects active continuous traps. Dark Bribe negates the activation and so Custom does not protect it. And yes' date=' you would draw.[/quote']There is nothing on the card or in the rulings that says anything about the "face-up continuous trap cards" needing to be "active". Face-up is face-up, so I would think Dark Bribe would negate it but then it would just be sitting there inactive but not destroyable. Either that or Dark Bribe can't even target it for negation/destruction since it can't be destroyed and it just carries through as it would have had DB not been played. If the former is true, I'd imagine the TC would draw a card; if the latter is true obviously they wouldn't.
evilfusion
It was never successfully activated, thus is was never "faceup", the same way negating a summon stops effects like Jinzo, etc. If a trap negates the summon of a monster, its effects cannot be activated because it was never officially on the field. Thus, Dark Bribe, which negates the activation, would keep Imperial Custom from protecting said continuous trap because it was not officially placed faceup. The reason Custom specifies "faceup" is so your inactive continuous traps dont get spared. Negating the activation will destroy it regardless of Imperial Custom because it was not "officially" flipped faceup- its activation was negated. Now, if a continuous trap's EFFECT (not activation) is negated, but it had been activated, such as Royal Decree chained to Call of the Haunted, Decree later being removed from the field in some fashion, Custom will still protect the meaningless Call from destruction because it's a faceup continuous trap that was activated.
