Small "Unhappy" Series.

Well i havn't really been on for a while, but I just thought, why not make a little series of cards that I can keep adding to. So I started with the basic micro-archetype that barely exists in YGO, and extend it. Also, images thanks to Google(photobucket) x

The "Unhappy" Damsel

Once per turn, if this Defense Position card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. (Damage calculation is applied normally.) This face-up card cannot be destroyed by an effect that does not target it.

The "Unhappy" Deity

1 "Unhappy" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters (except Tokens)

This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. This card cannot be removed from the field (except by battle). Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to return the same kind of card (Spell, Trap, or Monster Card) from your Graveyard to your hand (except the discarded card or a currently Limited, or Semi-Limited Card). There can only be 1 face-up "The Unhappy Deity" on the field.

I made this card only use an "Unhappy" tuner monster as without that I thought it'd be OPed. But then again, I guess it still could be with it. I just noticed how many times I said (except) in the effect. Lol, I should rename it The Unhappy Exception lol.

Unhappily Ever After - Name not exactly original but any suggestions im happy to see.

This card's controller must pay 500 Life Points during each of their Standby Phases. Once per turn, when a Monster you control is selected as an attack target by an opponent's monster, you can Select 1 "Unhappy" monster from your Deck and send it to the Graveyard, until the End Phase, the attack target's name is treated as that monster's name, and it gains that monster's effect(s). Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can special summon 1 "Unhappy" monster from your Graveyard. When this card's controller gains any Life Points, destroy this card, when this card is sent to the Graveyard by this effect, draw 1 card.

I accept any grammar errors but mainly I'm looking for an evaluation of the effects. Thanks x

You really know how to kick someone while they're down. But HOW could I improve, I don't think you can just call something someone has done pathetic without stating WHY. I'm not being defensive I'm just intrigued.

Good cards. The others have made pretty unfair decisions. Most people don't even look properly. I do. They all are really good, just have no specific theme between them. Definitely not pathetic.

Ahh, the unhappy monsters. Usually they sucks in real TCG but you seem to strength it a bit by creating a support for them. My only advise is that you create an overall card's theme for the 'Unhappy' Monsters, like maybe they specialize in Hand Destruction, milling or removed from play tactics (like D.D. perhaps?).

7/10. ;)
