I've never really liked hidden armory' date=' you need to normal summon at some point for this to work.

Yeah but this deck focuses heavily on the combo. It runs 3 hidden armory, 3 mystic tomato and 3 violet witch just to get lonefire blossom and supervise. My friend, who's been testing this more than me, suggested maining the threatening roar for the turn(s) where you set up the OTK.

You can kill without normal summoning here. If you have d.d.r. you can gold sarc for lonefire blossom and then hidden armory for supervise. It requires 4 cards and you will minus yourself pretty badly, but hey it works for infernity so I guess it's viable here too.

My friend's build is similar to this except for these changes:

-1 gigaplant

-1 trap dustshoot

-2 bottomless trap hole

+1 gold sarcophagus

+1 d.d.r. - different dimension reincarnation

+2 threatening roar

Another thing here, I know dandylion is sick with tytannial and the foolish burial+lonefire blossom combo but I'm trying to OTK here, not control. I'm pretty sure you could build something with swing of memories, foolish burial, dandylions, PSZ, DAD and PoA but it changes the way the deck plays drastically.

Have you ever considered UFO turtle, it's always playtested better for me than tomato/witch.

bump

Some modifications to the deck, I added the 2nd gold sarc since it opens the possibility of killing the same turn you use hidden armory.

As for UFO turtle, it was better with blazewing in the deck but now I don't like the possibility of losing lonefire in my opponent's MP2. I will ask my friend to test it though.

I run UFO Turtle @3. For starters, it stops OTKs, because it searches itself and can save you a few Life Points. Secondly, obviously, is searches Lonefire, and even if it does get lost in your opponent's MP2, you can still call/Miracle Fertlilizer it (notices that you run neither). Also, why not max out Gigaplant? This is my build:

Monsters: 19

Gigaplant X3

Tytannial

Gorz

Lonefire X2

Tomato X3

Violet Witch X2

UFO Turtle X3

Sangan

Nettles

Spore

Twilight Rose Knight

Spells: 13

Supervise X3

Mark of the Rose X2

Brain Control

Hidden Armory X2

D.D.R X2

Giant Trunade

MST

Smashing Ground

(last 2 would be as follows:

Heavy Storm

Lightning Vortex

but with the introduction of Starlight Road, I don't main those any more).

Traps: 8

Ultimate Offering X2 (fantastic tech thingy, it is like loads of Supervises in 1 card only better)

BTH X2

Threatening Roar (Not running Mirror Force because of Starlight)

Call of the Haunted

Starlight X2
