Revenge

Typically one like myself who take it out in a video game, or a punching bag. Lifting weights or working out in general. But sometimes you want to take the next step.

When is going too far, just that?

Discuss revenge.

Disrespect the Dead (in a formal and physical setting), and become the dead. Such is not so much an act of revenge, but an act of extreme respect. I believe that falls into this.

No I mean blatant disrespect, necrophelia is well... Honestly if I seen someone do that. I'd be hesitate to make them join the corpse, seeing as that'd be a blessing for them.

I would think that when revenge gets to a physical level' date=' it has gone too far. Most things can be discussed in a civil manner - and some things just aren't worth the effort to want revenge in the first place. Sometimes, it's just better to be the bigger person.

I suppose it's just one of those days for me.

But I agree. When it gets up to a point where it's not just pulling pranks anymore, it gets frightening.

Mira, there is more than one mere fruit that bears the taste of revenge. While it often leads nowhere, it exists inside a person who was caused extreme or distasteful anguish by a cause that be traced directly.

What would you say to a person such as that? (In my case, it'd be smokers as they ruined my home islands culture and way of life. A certain side of my family cannot even communicate properly to each other as a result).

I think, humanely, that revenge can never go too far. We have imaginations for a reason, we are creative for a reason, and we long to see others suffer...for a reason. Revenge is just our minds getting creative, and possibly to get our hands dirty. We know consequences can and will come after, but that's okay as long as someone appreciates our creativity we call revenge...whether positively or negatively.

As for a "civilized manner" in solving issues, that only leads to compromise, which leads to the mixture of happiness and sadness. We still (deep in our subconscious) crave the outcome to be in favor of ourselves.

Hmm, Josh, I don't really know what I'd say then. 'Cause as of now, the people I know, have no right to revenge. They don't have such an impact for a reason, that their sake of revenge is ridiculous to me. For example, my friend accidentally stepping on a girl's new shoes. That girl nearly pushed her into a rose bush a few days after. A thorny rose bush.

But from what your saying, I suppose revenge is a fair deal to get even with someone. But nothing is ever fair.

Like raping

If you mean punching and kicking and using kung-fu, it's not right to do that against a person who didn't punch and kick you. If he did... in my case, I'll lead all my friends into an all-out attack on the single foe who dared to bully me.

Am I Malfoy?

Never could pull off revenge.

Basically because it's more fun to imagine things going my way in my head' date=' than seeing my plan fail in front of my eyes.

Plus, revenge never solves anything. It only makes it worse, which is literally ridiculous.

This. ^^

Actually pulling off revenge is stupid.

Once somebody gets hurt, it went too far. Hell, revenge happens for the stupidest reasons now. A friend of mine was jumped yesterday by someone who got mad for a comment on myspace.
