instead it should say:

"If this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, it is not destroyed and place 1 Dual Counter on this card. When there are 2 Dual Counters on this card, destroy it."

You should make the Double-Attack "Once per turn,". Right now, it seems as if you mean while it is face-up on the field.

 

Card is balanced enough. 8/10.

Double-Attack could be abused :/ add a restriction like above said: "Once per turn, during your Battle Phase, by discarding 1 DARK.... some OCG errors (most of them by caps). picture it's okay although it's a bit blurry and it has a white border under the picture. But I have to say that this card it's balanced and I guess it's effect could be helpful to your "chess warriors".
