Zack thought while staring at his deck..... then it glowed...... three more cards were added to the extra deck "(??? What are those?)" Zack thought as he checked out what the cards were "(!!!! This will allow 'THAT'! Hehehe.... no one will be expecting that.....)" Zack thought while carefully thinking of a strategy......

"Heh, eager are we?" Lance asked jokingly. "Nick, you didn't do the assignment I handed out, so you really don't have a choice in partners." Lance stated as he walked onto the stage. "Since Kay was the first one to hand in the assignment, he'll get to choose." Lance satated while staring at Kay. "Well Kay, who do you choose?" "I have no one really in mind...... It doesn't matter who's my partner......" Kay stated. "Very well, Zack and Darren, you guys work it out amongst each other." Lance responded as he stared at the four students.

"(I hope this is the right choice.....)" Zack thought "My choice would be................ Nick....." Zack stated "(I hope I made the right choice.... Nick's lock down deck should work, his effects and my Synchros should do the trick......)" Zack thought while double checking his deck "..... That's my final decision......" Zack stated with a serious tone and a smirk, like he already planned out his whole strategy "......"

Having cut the majority of his classes for the day Gin decided that he should atleast go to one full class. Gin stood up from the grass,and looked at his watch.

 

" looks like i am late for professor lance class, man it's been a while since i showed my face in his class. I wounder what the teacher is going over today.

 

Gin tosses on his obelisk blue jacket, and makes his way to the classroom. About fifteen minutes later Gin shows up late to Lance's classroom. Without saying a word Gin takes a seat in the back of the class.

"Alright Zack chose me so lets start. I'll go first though." Nick said as he drew six cards from his deck to start his turn. "Alright. I'll summon Attack Lock! As long as this card remains on the field me and Zack can't be attacked. Now I'll play Unlocked Stone Cage! This card allows me to special summon 3 monsters from my deck with Lock in its name. Now I summon Monster Lock, Spell Lock, and Trap Lock!. Now the I pay half my Life Points for that amazing card. It also doesn't allow me to attack the turn I played the card, but this is the first turn so I can't anyway. Now that thats happened me and Zack are safe from anything except Special Summoning. That'll end my turn."

"My turn! Draw! I'll start by activating the Field Spell card, Synchronized Realm." Zack stated as he activated the card and the class turned into an orange swirl with black and a green wire frame with a bright light hole "Now, whenever I make a Synchro Summon, you take five hundred points of damage! And I'll also activate the Spell Card, Double Summon! Now I can summon twice this turn! I summon, Junk Synchron and Quilbolt Hedgehog in attack mode!" [JS lvl 3 Tuner ATK: 1300. QBHH lvl 2 Non-Tuner ATK: 800] "I tune Junk Synchron to Quilbolt Hedgehog!" Zack yelled as Junk Synchron started his engines and burst into three circles and Quilbolt Hedgehog jumped into them "I Synchro Summon! Junk Warrior! Let's rev it up!" [lvl 5 Synchro ATK: 2300] "Now you two take 500 points of damage!" Zack yelled as a bright yellow beam came out of the hole in the green wire frame and struck Kay and Darren "I'll end my turn with that."

Lance clapped his hand at Zack's and Nick's first turn. "Nice first turn boys, I guess I did teach you something huh?" Lance stated jokingly as he continued to watch the duel. "Alright then it's my turn...... First I'll play Chalice of the Greedy. By paying 500 LP and revealing one warrior-type monster in my hand, I can draw two cards......." Kay stated as he revealed Lightforce Knight and then drawing two cards. "Now I'll play Dragon Sacraficial Summoning. By discarding a dragon-type monster from my hand, I can summon any number of monsters to my field whose total level is equal to or lower than that of my dragon. Since I just discarded Dark Horus which is a level 8, I can summon a monster or monsters equal to or less than Dark Horus' level." Kay explained

 

"I'll summon Shine Knight and my Shockwave Dragon. Now I'll tune them together to create Blackstorm Dragon. I'll activate my dragon's effect, when my dragon is successfully synchro summon, I can destroy up to two monsters on your field. And I choose Attack Lock and Monster Lock." Kay stated as the two monsters disappeared from the field. It's too bad I can't attack this turn to finish you guys off........ I'll just let Darren finish you off next turn......... So I end........." Kay stated calmly.

As Stein walked down the hall from his classroom he heard a noise coming from the door nearest him. "Hm?" he let his curiosity get the better of him. He wandered over to professor Lance's class and looked in the door to see the ongoing duel. "Hmmmmm....this looks interesting." he said resting on the doorway and observing the ongoing action.

Darren sighed as the duel started. "Really... that's how it's going to be? Well... I guess I should be glad that out of the three of you, I got Kay as my partner. No offense, but exactly how much caffeine have you two had today?" Darren looked at the opposing team. "Seriously, if I didn't know better I'd guess you both had ADHD. Now... what to do..." Darren studied his hand. Then, an idea hit him. Yes... how easy... Darren grinned as he pulled one of the cards out of his hand. "I activate, Dimensional Fissure!" A giant gaping hole appeared in the sky in the shape of an odd looking plus.

 

"Now then... sorry partner, but I'll need to borrow some of our life points if you don't mind. But don't you worry. We'll win this no matter what. Time for my Demon's Treasure Chest! By paying 500 life points, I can choose 3 demon monsters from my deck. Then, my opponent chooses 1 randomly, and if it can be normal summoned, I get to special summon right to the field! Now," Darren said as he placed the spell in his graveyard and his life points went down by 500, "choose wisely!" Darren held out 3 cards, not showing what they were. He pointed at Nick. "I choose the middle one! (it doesn't matter which one he chooses really, so I assumed it would be okay for me to do this)" Darren placed the left and right cards into his graveyard, and then revealed the middle one. It was his Demon Leo. "I special summon Demon Leo to the field in attack mode with my demon's treasure chest's effect." A large demonic lion with flames on it appeared, growling ferociously as it was ready to pounce.

 

"Too bad that isn't the only trick up my sleeve." Darren revealed two more Demon's Treasure Chests from his hand. "I'm going to use these two cards, one after the other!" Darren's life points went down by 500 again, and he repeated the same process. Nick picked another card randomly, and Darren sent the other two to the grave. "I summon another Demon Leo!" A second demonic lion identical to the first appeared to the left of the first one (for simplicity's sake, I won't use more than one type of demon monster to save me from posting all of the cards at the bottom of this post). "And now, for the last treasure chest!" Darren, for the third time, repeated the process, and ended up sending two cards to the grave and summoning the third and final Demon Leo. "And thanks to my dimensional fissure (real card, look it up if you want), All of those cards were removed from play! Why is this so important? Well... you'll see.

 

I tribute all 3 of my demons to special summon Raejikash - Demon Lord of Plagues!" Darren removed all 3 leos from his duel disk and placed them in his grave, and they were removed from play. Then, he summoned the card in his hand, and large gusts of sand swirled around the monster appearing. The weirdest part was that they were... real? Well, Darren was expecting that. Sure, he didn't want his powers to be leaked out to the public, but the demon lords were powerful. Even Darren couldn't suppress all of their power. The large demon appeared, a scepter in hand. "Now... I have 9 cards removed from play, and thanks to Raejikash's effect, all of your monsters lose 100 ATK points for every monster I have removed from play. That makes 900 points." All the monsters on Darren's opponent's side of the field had their attacks drop 900 points. I could finish this with an attack... but some of Raejikash's power might hurt them. And much as I'd love to, I can't let my power become public. Plus, if I defeat them with my effect, it'll show that I don't even NEED to attack to defeat them.

 

Darren had made up his mind. "I use Raejikash's effect! I can return any of my cards that are removed from play to my graveyard to inflict 300 points of damage directly to you! And with 9 cards, that's 2700 points of damage!" The demon lord held up it's scepter, and a large green object in it glowed brightly. All the spirits of the removed from play monsters appeared as actual spirits. The were all absorbed into the scepter, and the demon lord held it towards Darren's opponents. "Time to finish this duel..." Raejikash fired a huge blast of green energy and caused a large explosion. Luckily for Darren, it was only a holographic explosion. No leaks about his powers for now.

 

Darren looked at his partner. "That was a great job you did of getting rid of the attack and summon lock monsters. I knew that you seemed more competent than those two fools. By the way, my name is Darren." Darren didn't say or do anything more. It was rare enough of him to compliment someone. Darren respected Kay as a duelist. He couldn't say as much for his two opponents.

Lore: This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except by tributing 3 face-up "Demon" monsters on your side of the field. As long as this card is face-up on the field, lower the ATK and DEF of all monsters on your opponent's side of the field by 100 for each of your cards that has been removed from play. You may return any number of your cards that were removed from play to your graveyard to inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent for every card returned.

As the duel ended, Lance clapped his hands at all of them. "Very good work you four. All of you showed great tactics and for that, automatic A+ for this week. Of course, next week's Dueling Day will be a little bit more difficult." Lance stated as he walked over to his desk and stamped an A+ onto their Dueling Day Battle Records. "And remember kids, it doesn't really matter who wins or lose. Just have fun dueling." Lance stated while giving a friendly smile towards all four of them. Kay deactivated his duel disk in a calm manner. "It's nice to meet you too, I'm Kay........" Kay stated as he held his hand out for a handshake. "Nice dueling by the way........" Kay complimented. This was one of the rare times Kay has complimented another duelist. The only other people Kay had ever complimented was Lance who defeated him in one turn, and Zack who defeated Kay when they were little kids.

"Hehehehehe.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Zack laughed "That was an awesome card! Too bad it didn't come down to my turn though." Zack explained while checking out the card that he would of drawn, a card that would start the end of the duel "This card would of started the end of this duel....." Zack explained while showing the card he would of drawn "This card would let me discard a card and draw three...." Zack explained while checking out the three cards he would of drawn "(Nitro Synchron, a Tuner monster that tuned with Junk Warrior would Synchro Summon Nitro Warrior.... plus this spell card.... would of done two things for me.... than the effect of my Field Spell..... than I would attack.... that would of ended the duel.....)" Zack thought.

Kay stared at Zack with an irritated look. "Zack...... for so long I've known you........ and let me tell you one thing....... your cockiness has gotten worse........" Kay stated while closing his eyes. Lance then walked over and stared at Zack intently. "Zack....... last time in the food hall in the Obelisk Blue Boys' Dorms, did you caused the food fight? And don't lie to me Zack, or else you have dire things to worry about...." Lance stated as he gave a calm smirk and raised his left eyebrow. Kay then stared at Nick. "........... your monsters have pretty powerful effects.........." Kay stated calmly.

"Why suspect me? If I fight it's via Duel." Zack stated "If someone starts it, I stop them before it gets too crazy...." Zack replied to Lance, then turning to Kay "I'm pretty sure that I saw you throwing food Kay, correct me if I'm wrong.... and don't forget the cameras my brother has around the academy.... all except people's rooms." Zack explained "We all have our flaws, I'm only cocky because I have faith in my cards." Zack stated "(.... Too bad I wasn't looking at the cameras during the fight.....)" Jack thought while thinking about what too say "..... Mr. Yura, are you BLAMING Zack?" Jack asked "I'm not saying this because he's my brother, I'm saying this because it's a school rule, you CANNOT go blaming students without proof."

Kay stared at Zack intently. "Do you think I'm the kind of person to start a food fight?......... If you do, something horrible must be going on inside your head........" Kay stated calmly as he closed his eyes. Lance then stared at the Chancellor. "Well Chancellor, oops, I mean Mr. Fudo, I'm not suspecting Zack, I am merely asking a question to help find the person that caused this. I wouldn't want the dorm I'm in charge with to be dirty, that's being a good teacher." Lance stated as he motioned his hands in a "Oh well...." manner. "Besides, Zack's attitude is well, you get the idea, after all, you're his brother Chancellor, oops, I mean Mr. Fudo. Sorry, force of habit....." Lance stated.

"HAHAHA!" Jack chuckled "It's okay Mr. Yura, I know what you mean..... I KNOW Zack, it's just that he's not lying, he fights via dueling, a way that no one gets hurt.... but, I know a way that you can find out who started it, please choose another pair of teams, DIFFERENT than the last teams and follow me, and if you're thinking that you need too stay here, don't worry, just come with me." Jack explained while waiting for Lance to choose new teams.

"Hmm, choose new teams huh? For what?" Lance asked curiously as he walked over to Jack from his deck. "Another duel perhaps? But how will that prove anything? Well anyways, I'm not really the kind to choose and neither is Kay, so Zack, Nick, and Darren will have to decided. Either that or you Mr. Fudo." Lance stated. Kay opened his eyes and stared at Jack. "............. If we're doing another duel, I'll have to get something to eat first........ Sorry, but I'm pretty hungry......." Kay stated as he made his way out of the classroom.

Jack stopped Kay "You cannot get food during class...." Jack stated "... Fine than, Zack and.... Darren, against Kay and Nick." Jack chose "Alright! This time I go first!" Zack yelled as he shuffled his deck and drew his five cards than his sixth "I'll start by summoning Shield Warrior in defense mode." [lvl 3 Non-Tuner DEF: 1600] "I'll end my turn with two face-downs." Zack stated with a smirk.

"Forget it. I have better things to do than duel again just to let some crazy ego-maniac and his big brother who seems to only want his little brother to win feel superior to everyone else. You think changing teams is the problem? A team is only as good as its weakest link. I'm out of here. Or at least not dueling. Why don't you get someone else to duel? Maybe one of the girls or another guy?" Darren was sick and tired of pointless duels. The tag duel was useless. He hoped for something interesting, but it was just two weak duelists who thought they were big shots because they had some cards that were ridiculously powerful. But even with the over-powerful cards, his team still won with better dueling skills. Darren turned and ignored the ridiculous nonsense suggested by the chancellor. This is why chancellor's should never be allowed to be related to students. Too much favoritism. Daren thought to himself.

Zack deactivated his duel disk "Grrrr! You!" Zack yelled "(I hate people like him! I'll get him back! We'll duel, Slifer and Obelisk..... against the Wicked Gods!)" Zack thought "How's about a one on one duel than?!" Zack asked "That okay teach?" Zack asked Lance "(Too bad I can't use the Egyptian Gods right now.... but..... I can still use my new Synchro......)" Zack thought with a smirk....

"To tell the truth Zack, it's not really my decision to make, hehe. I'm sorry, but I hate to disappoint even one person......." Lance explained in a nervous tone. Kay was quiet throughout the whole thing. Kay just simply deactivated his duel disk and walked towards Lance and Mr. Yura. "Can I go get something to eat?........." Kay asked in a calm tone. "Well Kay, it's alright with me. How about you Mr. Fudo?" Lance asked. He then walked back to his desk and handed out to everybody their homework. "Alright kids, make sure to have that packet finish by next week......" Lance stated.

"As long as class is finished." Jack stated "Mr. Yura, please come with me, I need some help...." Jack explained. "....." "(I'll get that guy.....)" Zack thought. "(........ I have a bad feeling about this..... well..... I felt like that when I first took this job.... and do I still have that feeling? ........ yes.....)" Jack thought while signaling Lance too follow him "I need your help with something that will benefit us both...."

"Very well then........ I'll be taking my leave........ Good luck on your duel, Darren, Zack......... well, if you do have one anyhow........" Kay stated as he walked out of the classroom and went down the hallways. Lance then turned to Jack and pointed to himself. "What? Come with you? Alright then, lead the way. Whatever it is, I guess if it's beneficial to both of us, then I have no reason to worry. (Hopefully he doesn't decrease my pay, hehe.......)" Lance thought jokingly to himself. "Well, class is dismiss. Remember your homework alright." Lance stated as he followed Jack out of the classroom.

Jack led Lance to his office "I need your help with this. It's the TV that's connected to all of the cameras, I need YOU to help me hook it up properly, all of the cables look exactly the same. So, knowing you, you should know which one goes where, and if you can do this, you could find out who started the food fight in the blue dorm cafeteria." Jack explained. "(Why did Jack even GIVE him the Wicked Gods?)" Zack thought.

After Jack explained the problem he needed help with, Lance kneeled down and carefully looked at the wires. "Hmm, wow Mr. Fudo, this sure is quite a mess." Lance stated as he carefully hold two of the wires in his hand. After a few seconds of heavy thinking, Lance, with quick speed, rearranged all of the wires accordingly. Lance then cleaned his hands on a napkin and stood up. "Alright, finished. Things should be working now." Lance stated as he turned on the monitor and searched for Obelisk Blue Boys' Dorms Dining Hall. In the video, he noticed that a kid named Greg was throwing food at the other kids, Kay was just walking out calmly, and Zack was nowhere to be found. "Well, Greg is in for big trouble. Thank you Mr. Fudo. You know what, I'll just call you Jack if that's alright with you." Lance said as he exited the door. Before completely leaving, Lance turned his head back and gave a friendly grin.

"No Lance, thank you." Jack replied "And yes it is ok to call me by my first name when NOT in front of a class." Jack explained. Zack left the class, heading in the direction of his brother's office, when he saw Lance leaving it "Hey Mr. Yura." Zack stated "(I hope this gets things cleared up..... even if it gets me detention.....)" Zack thought "I wanted to say that I did start the food fight...." Zack stated, hoping that his lie would get things over with..... even though he was smiling and he didn't notice "(I hope I'm not smiling.... I smile when I lie....)"
