Life Changing (or not very bright) Injuries

Discuss any injuries you have ever had that made you afraid of doing something that involves that injury.

When I was about 5 or 6, I put an iron that was turned on atop of my hand because I wanted my hand to be flat. From that day on, I had a fear of fire.

Yeah, same here. I broke my arm playing football (NOT IN AMERICA!), and it shattered in 2 places. Yes, you just read "shattered". I still play football.

Me and my brother where playing badmitton and he got the shuttlecock (lol) stuck on the roof. I go to the garage and get a chair and a push broom. I climb on the chair and try and hit it with the broom. no good. i get down from the chair and put it away. i throw the broom up and miss the birdie by an inch. im watching the birdie not thinking about the broom. it came down and hit me on top of my head. i got home from the hos[ital with staples in my head. i burned the broom

I got raped...

Now I'm scared of all the guys that has a shirt that says "I rape"

Raped by a priest and the doctors said I would have a 90% of not having kids. Not joking. I'm sure my friend still has the PM from back in like August of 09. Not sure. a long time ago on a site called KHV.

....but no fire is involved in an Iron?

Sorry if I'm a terrible person because of this, but I lol'd so hard.

I couldn't help myself. D:

Nothing lifechanging for me.

Owait, when I was 3, there was really high monkey bars my dad put me up on, and I slipped and broke my arm.

I've been scared of heights ever since.

When I said "Fire"' date=' I was referring to burning. I don't like the feel of burn, now I am petrified of burning or anything that can burn me because of that unintelligent incident.

It's ok. I even laugh at myself today for doing that.

I was about five, and my mum was on the phone, so I turned it up. The button stuck and it went to full volume. I couldn't turn it down again, so I ran away. It was pretty scary, I've been afraid of Poatman Pat ever since. =/

I used to swing really high, and jump off at it's highest point. I jumped too straight one time, and ended up landing flat on my back. Mind you, these are the long swings, that get you some high, and distance. So ya, I was out cold for a while. I had some good friends, carried me to the house, where I woke up after 10 minutes.
